Fourth behind Eminent in the Craven Stakes on last year's return, but flopped in the Dante at York on only subsequent run. Reappeared with a disappointing run in the Spring Cup at Newbury, and returns from another lay-off now. Market should guide.
Slipped in the weights before getting his head back in front in a C&D handicap last month from Storm Ahead, holding on gamely. Not harshly punished for that, and softer ground is a positive.
Followed good second in the mud at Ayr last month with a win over C&D on faster ground. Didn't find as much as he promised to at York last weekend, though, and possibly feeling the effects of a busy spell.
Good servant to this yard, although not the force of old. Fitting of a tongue tie seemed to help when he was a good fourth to King's Pavilion here last time, but needs to step forward again if he's to reverse that form.
Finished second in last year's Cambridgeshire off 6lb lower but has been miles below that level in six starts since, most recently in latest running of that Newmarket contest.
Has caught the eye on his last two starts, finishing third at Sandown before filling the same spot behind King's Pavilion here. Met trouble when launching his challenge then, so worth marking that performance up.
Winner of a novice at Goodwood (7f, good/soft) last season and highly tried subsequently. Bit disappointing in two AW runs since returning from a break in August, but perhaps a return to easy turf will help.
Won off 8lb lower at Ripon in August, and ran at least as well when runner-up at Pontefract (1m2f, heavy) next time. Bit below form at that track since, despite being able to dictate, and looks vulnerable from revised mark.
Thriving at present, and brought up his hat-trick of handicap wins when coping well with the mud at Newbury (7f) last time. Return to 1m no problem, and can go well again with underfoot conditions clearly no problem.
Has won twice over similar trips already this season on good/fast ground, the latter win from 5lb lower. Below form on last two starts, however, and others come here in better heart.
Won twice around this trip at Hamilton in May/June, but form has dipped of late, and failed to beat a rival at Newcastle last time.Questions to answer now.
Has picked up progressive thread back on turf on recent starts, following 1m win a Ffos Las with a victory off 8lb higher at Pontefract (out of handicap). Handles testing ground, and only 3lb higher here despite a penalty. Hard to beat.
Over two years since last win, but bounced back to form when second to King's Pavilion in a C&D handicap last time. Claims if repeating that, but he's not the most consistent.
Scored on soft at Ripon (1m) in April, and several creditable efforts since, but tended to hang under pressure when fifth behind King's Pavilion here last time, and no surprise to see headgear deployed now.
Won an easy-ground 7f handicap at Thirsk last month, and improved again when second of 13 to Explain at Ayr last time. Yet to be tested at this trip, but shapes as if worth a try given how she responded last time.
