Just three wins from 33 starts but now 5lb below last winning mark. Should be competitive with easier ground a positive although tends to be better at a half furlong shorter.

Lightly-raced but yet to add to sole success over this trip. 1lb below that winning mark but needs to bounce back from a below-par effort.

Broke through on start number 12 when soft ground looked the key at Windsor. Rain would be a positive but this does look tougher.

14-race maiden who has gone close on a number of occasions before a disappointing run on Tuesday. Drops in trip and would have preferred quicker conditions.

Lost her maiden tag on start number seven when overcoming a slow start to get up late on. That was a significant step forwards and can defy 5lb rise over this extra half furlong.

On a favourable mark but just three wins from 44 starts and plenty to find with Sugar Plum Fairy from Bath. Others preferred.

Gained career win number seven at Wolverhampton but was well below that here last start. This extra half furlong stretches him and others look stronger candidates.

Made all to win a moderate (but big-field) Redcar handicap in August but blew the start at Bath and needs to step up on recent Chelmsford run.. First-time cheekpieces added.

Former C&D winner who is back on same mark as when ending a long losing sequence at Nottingham in May. Best effort since when finishing to good effect at Lingfield and rates a contender.

11-race maiden who showed promise when second at Chelmsford but has been disappointing in two starts since. Looks more effective on the AW.

Just two wins from 59 starts but did shape better on third start for new stable when getting the run of the race at Wolverhampton. Ideally would like a stiffer test than this.

Sole win came over this C&D in July and now on a 2lb lower mark. Latest three runs have been uninspiring and needs to find plenty more.

Infrequent winner whose latest losing streak dates back to July 2017. Very disappointing on last two starts and remains best watched.

Yet to win after 11 starts but belied her huge odds with a career-best over a half furlong shorter here. More required over this trip but open to improvement.

Watch Tan (6/1), Social Butterfly (6/1), Sugar Plum Fairy (6/1), Cool Strutter (7/1), Sandkissed (7/1), Drop Kick Murphi (8/1), Wild Flower (9/1), Prince Rock (9/1), Moremoneymoreparty (12/1), Free Talkin (14/1), Compton Abbey (16/1), Everkyllachy (20/1), Storm Lightning (25/1), Born To Boogie (25/1), Raise A Little Joy (28/1), Burauq (33/1)

Verdict

In a race lacking depth it may pay to stick with SUGAR PLUM FAIRY who justified a market move for her breakthrough success and remains open to plenty of improvement over this extra distance. Drop Kick Murphi caught the eye running on late last time and looks to be running into form at a course that suits. Raise A Little Joy was better here on her latest run and could place at nice odds.
  1. Sugar Plum Fairy
  2. Drop Kick Murphi
  3. Raise A Little Joy
