NORTHERN SOCIETY was third that day and his latest effort can be forgiven as he stumbled after a furlong. With his top northern jockey on board, he is worth another chance. The Defiant is an interesting runner on his nursery debut, while top-weights Staycation and Four Wheel Drive have each-way prospects.
