Catterick scorer on his handicap debut in August. 9lb higher here and looks to have a tough task on his hands.
Dual 5f winner in the summer, both on fast ground, including under a penalty. Went close on handicap debut last time. Up 3lb. Should be thereabouts.
Dual 5f winner at Hamilton in the summer, the latter decisively under a penalty. Well held in Listed company here and back at Hamilton in a handicap last time. New mark more feasible, headgear now tried and not written off.
Beat Concierge a head (now 3lb worse off with him) at Haydock last time. Has won over 6f and on fast ground. More needed from 4lb higher, but may not have stopped improving yet.
Improving colt who scored by 2L over C&D (good to soft) last time in a decent novices' contest. Runner-up won next time, so form looks very solid. Initial mark probably fair and could follow-up given a bit of improvement.
In tremendous form with four wins from her last five over 5f-6f. Acts on the forecast ground. 6lb rise will make this tougher and she is more exposed that most, but certainly not ruled out.
Won an Ayr novice event in August (6f, good to firm) and went close under a penalty next time. Heavy ground a probably excuse for hefty defeat on nursery debut last time. Not written off back on a sound surface from 1lb lower.
Wolverhampton novice winner (6f, AW) in August. Had has excuses both starts since then. Does not appear to be stable's first string on jockey bookings. Bit to prove.
Backed up a Ffos Las novice win (5f, good) with another under a penalty at Beverley last time. May have got in a shade lightly on her nursery debut. Very interesting.
Won a Ripon novice event (5f, good) on her second start. Well held in Listed company last time, but heavy ground a possible excuse. Initial mark looks fair and back on a sound surface she enters calculations.
Respectable efforts in all four starts so far, but remains a maiden and this looks a tough race in which to try to shake off that tag.
Won a Hamilton novice event in the spring, but has already had a number of attempts in nurseries without success. Despite some respectable efforts (including here), he has a fair bit to prove after his last two starts.
Scored at Beverley in August, but way below that on his nursery debut last time. Headgear fitted but others preferred.

Three Card Trick (3/1), Enchanted Linda (11/2), Golden Circle (6/1), Concierge (13/2), Triggered (8/1), Princess Power (8/1), Blyton (9/1), Fastman (10/1), Bugler Bob (16/1), Kolossus (16/1), Pacino (20/1), I Believe In You (25/1), Packington Lane (28/1), Big Ace (50/1)
A competitive opener where plenty can be given a chance. Among those are Concierge and Blyton, while Fastman could live up to his name. Three Card Trick looks likely to be a serious player, but slight preference is for the filly ENCHANTED LINDA, who might just have sneaked in slightly under the radar from this mark. Golden Circle, Kolossus and Princess Power are also considered.
- Enchanted Linda
- Three Card Trick
- Blyton
