Showed his well being following a break when a good second of 11 at Chester. Competes off the same mark and can get involved again.
Placed on many occasions this season and got his head in front at Pontefract in July. Now 5lb higher, but did run well off this rating over C&D last time.
Finished in mid-division when last seen over 1m4f at York in June. Only 1lb lower and is likely to find this trip on the short side.
Lightly-raced colt who won a 1m novice contest at Kempton in January. Has not been sighted since June and tackles his longest trip so far in first-time blinkers.
Best run since joining current yard from Sir Michael Stoute's stable when a close fourth, not far behind Lunar Jet, at Chester. Has a squeak off 1lb lower if able to build on that.
Without a win in four starts this year, but is slipping down the weights and is only 4lb higher than when successful at Doncaster in October. Revival needed, but stable continues in good form.
Promoted to first after finishing a close second in his opening handicap at Lingfield last month. A 6lb rise makes life tough, but he is lightly raced and may well be able to defy his higher mark.
Off the mark at the 11th attempt when scoring in good style over 1m4f at Ripon. Up 4lb and drop in distance is not guaranteed to suit.
Easily landed a LIngfield novice event in August, but lacked sparkle when finishing in mid-division on handicap bow at Kempton. Dropped 3lb, but has something to prove under his 7lb claimer.
Limited promise in four starts in maiden/novice/handicap company. Has been gelded and given a break so it will be interesting to see if the market speaks in his favour off this 2lb lower mark.
Maiden after eight starts, but has hit the frame four times. Only seventh of 10 in first-time blinkers over 1m4f at Kempton last time and hopes rest on drop in trip.
Scored twice during the summer and missed out only narrowly at Kempton on latest start. Up 3lb, but seems to be thriving and is short-list material.
Chepstow winner in August and ran a solid race to be third off this mark at Newbury last time. Likely to be in the shake-up again.
Back-to-back wins at Catterick and Beverley last month, but struggled off a higher mark at Epsom last time. That course does not suit every horse so it is too soon to be writing him off.

Imaginative, Tiffin Top and Radio Source represent top trainers and will be popular with punters, but the likes of Recordman, El Ghazwani, Starcaster and MAKAMBE look more solid. The selection continues to progress and looks sure to be thereabouts. Doctor Cross and Lunar Jet are others to consider.

- Recordman
