On a roll and completed a hat-trick of wins in nurseries at LIngfield six days ago. Tougher task stepped up in trip under a 6lb penalty, but cannot be ruled out in current mood.
Bolted up in a six-runner Epsom maiden in August and did not get the best of runs when fifth at Beverley in his bid to follow up. Handicap bow and breeding suggests this test of stamina ought to suit.
Promise on last two starts in novice company, latterly when chasing home a useful sort over 1m at Haydock. First run in a nursery and this longer trip promises to see him in an even better light.
Still looking fo his first win after seven attempts, but has shown promise and runs as though in need of a stamina test. One to bear in mind in first-time blinkers.
Gradually getting his act together as he steps up in trip, so this even longer distance ought to suit. Has to cope with a 2lb rise following his recent second at Ayr.

Prefontaine (6/4), Greeley (4/1), Cape Islay (9/2), Sophosc (13/2), Ventura Bay (7/1), One To Go (9/1), Jacko (14/1)
Sophosc and Greeley have done connections proud, but both look vulnerable off their high ratings. One To Go appeals as the right sort for this staying contest, but the two to concentrates on may be Cape Islay and PREFONTAINE, with preference for the latter who ran into a promising sort at Haydock last time and should improve for this longer trip.
