Prolific 22-time winner has won last three at Goodwood, Ffos Las and Catterick, his first turf wins in the UK having landed five turf races in South Africa earlier in career. Escapes a penalty for last week's victory and due to go up 5lb in future.
Leicester winner for Richard Hannon in 2017, and not disgraced after an absence for new yard at Lingfield in July. Better last time but appears held by Captain Lars.
Made a flying start for this yard winning three of his first four starts earlier in the campaign. Struggled subsequently, but signs were more positive on Saturday when third from an unhelpful draw and this represents a drop in class.
Both career victories have come over C&D. Has won off a higher mark than this but best form this season has come from ratings of 72-73.
Clearly suited to 5f on a fast surface so any rain would be an issue. Handicapper has taken a realistic view of his narrow victory at Bath. The second, third and fifth have upheld the form whilst rider is 2-4 for the yard this year.
Refused to race at Newmarket and has finished last on both starts since. Looks a risky proposition at present.
Narrowly denied two wins in a row over 5f at Beverley and remains well handicapped. Below-par on AW over 6f last time but likely to prove more effective here.
Mayson filly appreciated the slower ground when returning to form at Sandown. Has to be held up and that requires some luck in running.
Her four victories have come over the extended 5f at Bath and 6f here. Tough, on a good mark and versatile in terms of ground but an extra few yards would have been ideal.
Struck form in the summer with back to back wins at Leicester and Wolverhampton. Form has been sliding since and he has to bounce back from a poor effort last time.
Won at Sandown as a 2-y-o, but broke a blood vessel on return at Bath in May. Given a break after that, but has fared no better in two subsequent runs.
Five-time winner who has finished second on a further ten occasions. Weighted to give a good account as last three runs this season, from marks of 66-68, he has won once and been beaten twice by a neck.
Best recent form has come on AW tracks and she was last of 16 at Beverley last month. Hard to fancy on that evidence.

Captain Lars (3/1), Tan (5/1), Musharrif (11/2), Nibras Again (6/1), Tallinski (6/1), Maygold (8/1), Foxtrot Knight (18/1), Algam (20/1), Swing Out Sister (25/1), Ebitda (25/1), Belledesert (28/1), Bomad (40/1), Sky Gypsy (50/1), King Crimson (100/1)
It is hard to overlook CAPTAIN LARS as an in form sprinter who gets in here on 5lb better terms than he will in future races after being reassessed for last week's Goodwood victory. Foxtrot Knight makes each-way appeal from a mark that sets him up to run a big race, whilst Nibras Again should be thereabouts if the forecast for dry weather proves accurate.
- Captain Lars
- Foxtrot Knight
- Nibras Again
