Yard does well with few Flat runners, and this maiden got back on track when fourth of 8 to Moving Forward in 1½m handicap here last time. Stays further, and looks worth a try at this trip.

Course winner who isn't easy to catch right these days, but better than the result when 7½L fifth of 13 to Xinbama at Bath last time, hampered and eased late on. Had gone close off this mark on penultimate AW start.

Not disgraced when fifth over C&D in June, but essentially not the force of old, and disappointing at Chepstow last time. Others look to have his measure despite declining mark.

Goes well here and better than ever when a close second over C&D in June. She has disappointed in two starts since, though, so needs to bounce back if she's to figure.

Bits of form for Robbie McNamara without winning, but failed to improve for a switch to Olly Murphy (over jumps), and he's hard to fancy despite having wind surgery prior to latest outing.

Won a 1m3f maiden here in the spring, and ran well on penultimate start, but just a respectable 13½L fourth of 11 to Swordbill in a C&D handicap last time, and work to do on that evidence.

Failed to improve on first two starts in handicap company, but very much caught the eye when second of 14 to Dubai Frame over 2m at Lingfield last time, keeping on within himself. Ought to go well now.

Handicapped on his form over shorter, but appreciated step up to 1½m when beaten narrowly in a handicap here on his latest start. Not stopping at the finish there, so worth a try at this trip, for all his dam was a sprinter.

Showed a little more on handicap bow, and built on that when third of 14 to Dame Nellie over 1½m here last time, although strictly held by runner-up Looking For Carl on that running.

Seems to have hit the buffers in handicaps of late, failing to better his reappearance effort when ninth of 13 to The Way You Dance at Lingfield last time. Easy enough to oppose despite declining mark.

Just a modest maiden on balance, but he is at leastin form, and again acquitted himself well when 5¼L third of 9 to Urban Spirit in 2m handicap at Ripon last time. Place claims again.

Form figures make poor reading, but hasn't been disgraced on the whole, and was hampered when unseating his rider last time. Not a forlorn hope.

Forecasts

Trinitas (3/1), Press Gang (4/1), Looking For Carl (6/1), Innoko (8/1), Folies Bergeres (8/1), Tin Fandango (10/1), Bird For Life (12/1), The Fiddler (16/1), Planetoid (20/1), Mount Cleshar (20/1), Southern States (25/1), Gee Sixty Six (33/1), Simafar (100/1)

Verdict

Few of these make particular appeal, but TRINITAS is clearly improving and finished with running left when second at Lingfield last time. Press Gang could be a danger despite top weight, with Looking For Carl also considered after an improved effort here last time, and he appears to have plenty more stamina than would be suggested by his pedigree.
