First star for new yard tonight, takes a big drop in grade but not seen out since April and was in no form back then. Has plenty to prove now and best watched.

C&D winner (in better grade than this) two starts back and ran well enough under a penalty on Saturday to think he remains in good form. Has to be a major player if taking his chance.

Twice a winner last winter but they came in selling/Grade 7 company and she was twice a beaten favourite after that. Not seen since April, has first start for new yard here and is likely to need this. Wears tongue-tie for first time.

Plugged on to finish fourth here last time out (over slightly shorter) and the cheekpieces tried tonight might just wake his ideas up. Well enough handicapped if they do the trick. Yard like to land a gamble so watch the market.

Couldn't have won any easier at Bath last week. coming clear to win 4½l but that was over a shorter trip and she's got a different surface to contend with here. On same mark though, so every chance if she can answer those questions.

Some moderate form figures mask the fact he's not running that badly at present, but looks to lack gears and even this trip may not be far enough for him. Worth consideration if a double-figure price, though.

Hard to win with (can idle in front) but it all came good for him here last time out, winning with a bit more in hand than just over a length suggests. 4lb higher mark far less of a worry than whether he'll put it all in again. Chances if he does.

Had shown next to nothing before springing an 80-1 surprise at Wolverhampton last time out, the massive step up in trip seemingly working the oracle. Another 2f to travel here but it might just have all clicked into place now, and hard to rule out.

Only beaten a head here in August but that was over 10f, and there's little evidence to suggest he needs this far. Poor efforts since then too, so easy enough to pass over.

Old boy that pops up form time to time and ran his best race for a while at Wolverhampton last time (12f), staying on late. Will appreciate this extra 2f and can never be totally ruled out of these low-grade events.

Well beaten on her three handicap starts so far but is at least open to a bit of improvement and there's a chance this new trip might bring out a bit more in her. Others still have stronger profiles at present, though.

Forecasts

Seinesational (5/4), Gemini (3/1), Lyford (4/1), Avocet (10/1), Dalasiri (14/1), Buxlow Belle (14/1), Yasir (16/1), Hell Of A Lady (16/1), Shamonix (50/1), Slowfoot (50/1), Eurato (66/1)

Verdict

One of these days the veteran Yasir will drop in unexpectedly and he couldn't be ruled out with complete confidence here, but if SEINESEITIONAL makes a quick reappearance after his run on Friday the hint should be taken. He looks the most likely winner, with these conditions ideal. Gemini and Hell Of A Lady both look to be getting the hang of things and could be threats. Slowfoot needs a glance in the market.
