Both wins over 7f but seems to stay much further now and strong finishing second at Leicester (1m4f) where she won her two races proved that. Poor effort latest on AW but showed dislike for that surface before. Not out of this.

Made the frame in last six starts winning once at Bath. Handicap continues to climb as a result of her consistency but has to be considered a leading player nevertheless under the champion jockey.

1m4f winner at Salisbury when upped to that trip for first time and campaigned at that distance subsequently with less success. Return to 1m2f not sure to be ideal and handicap mark at present possibly stiff.

Eight race maiden recently returned from 70 day absence for debut for this yard with an uninspiring run at Goodwood. May have needed the run but still hard to fancy.

Handicap debut winner for previous trainer Ed Dunlop (1m2f Chepstow) but couldn't build on that in two subsequent starts. Sets out for a new yard after a lengthy absence and probably best watched for now.

Former French trained mare is yet to win in 12 starts for current yard. Returned to the level latest with a moderate 9L sixth of eight after an unsuccessful spell over hurdles. Easy to pass over.

€350,000 yearling done little to justify that purchase price so far although there was some promise in fourth on second start at Nottingham. Poor effort next but given time since by top trainer and blinkers added for handicap bow.

Eleven race maiden was showing some possibilities in midsummer but seems to have lost her way of late and is now hard to fancy despite first-time cheekpieces.

Handicap debutant has been slow to learn the game and still appeared a little green latest at Chelmsford. Upped in trip here which should suit and switches to turf for first time.

Seven time winner but never beyond 1m. Seems to prefer AW and summer absence perhaps suggestion that she's again being readied for winter AW campaign.

Won a poor contest at Chemsford penultimately but couldn't repeat next at Kempton. Wins her share at low levels but this probably beyond her.

Forecasts

Geetanjali (2/1), Golden Image (4/1), Midnight Mood (5/1), Cheerfilly (8/1), Collegiate (8/1), Hyperactive (10/1), Star Of Athena (14/1), Delicate Kiss (16/1), Deduce (20/1), Qaswarah (33/1), First Experience (33/1), Yamuna River (40/1)

Verdict

Consistent filly GEETANJALI gets the nod after a series of good runs in handicaps and she is certainly the one with the least question marks here. Unexposed trio Star Of Athena, Hyperactive and Collegiate all make their handicap bows and each have positives with the former narrowly preferred having looked likely to appreciate this step up in trip latest at Ffos Las.
