Ran crackers the last twice having finished second on both occasions including over C&D. Nudged back up to last winning mark so more than capable of being right in the mix again.
Mark is slipping all the time and has run some good races of late without winning. Drops down to a 0-65 here which gives him sound claims of going well. Needs to put best foot forward.
Returned from an absence for new yard at Hamilton last time when missing the break and beaten a long way. On a fir mark if fitter now but can hang to the left which will not help here.
Won her first two starts but has been on a steady decline since. Dropped to a very handy mark now but needs to show more before coming of interest.
Bounced back to form when winning at Musselburgh back in July off a 3lb lower mark. Run three good races since and has sound claims of filling the frame once again.
Won here over C&D three starts back off a 5lb lower mark. Not so good the last twice but a return here with rider claiming a handy 5lbs makes him of interest.
Only one win from 24 starts but is starting to look dangerously well handicapped. Looked in need of the run on the back of a break/wind operation last time and should strip fitter now. Interesting especially if the market speaks in his favour.
Winner here over C&D (soft) two weeks ago off a 4lb higher mark. Ran a cracker trying to follow-up at Redcar four days ago and will be a major player once more if in the same mood here.
Won over 5f as a two-year-old but here form has really tailed off since. Slowly away and never on terms at Beverley last time. Starting to look dangerously well handicapped though so market check is very much advised.
Form has really fallen away this year but is starting to look attractively handicapped as a result. First-time blinkers reached for here but hard to recommend unless the market screams his name.
Went close over C&D in April but form has been poor since. On a very attractive mark now though and if a return to this venue sparks a revival he could be pretty dangerous. C&D winner.
C&D winner who has managed to bag stall 1. Form this year has been poor and very difficult to fancy on balance of form despite a falling mark.
Not had many starts and best effort came over this C&D on handicap debut. Not so good the last three efforts and now returns from a short break. Needs to do more.
Forecasts
Cliff (7/2), Kodicat (7/2), Hadley (6/1), Burtonwood (8/1), Scoundrel (8/1), Straightothepoint (9/1), Alfie's Angel (10/1), Melonade (16/1), Danish Duke (18/1), Father Mckenzie (20/1), Bow Belles (25/1), Piazon (66/1), Shakiah (100/1)
Cliff has been in good form of late and should be a major player in this field once again. There are some out of form runners lurking on dangerous marks in here though and a market move for any of them could prove decisive. Bow Belles looks ready to strike and is interesting. We will take a chance that HADLEY can bounce back to form returned to this venue and off a very tempting mark.
- Hadley
- Cliff
- Bow Belles
