Poet's Voice filly out of a winning half-sister to Group 1 Prix du Cadran winner Invermark and Group 2 Princess of Wales's Stakes winner Craigsteel. Promise when fourth on debut at Doncaster, but likely to need a stiffer test in time.
Half-sister to useful 7f-1m1f winner Nocturnal Secret; kept on well when 1¼L third of 8 to Pont Vert in novice at Leicester (6f) early in the month, and sure to improve on that promising start, particularly tackling this trip.

Lope de Vega filly out of a maiden sister to St Leger runner-up Kite Wood. Half-sister Heeyaam runner-up on all three AW starts for same connections, showing fairly useful form.

By Cape Cross out of a 2-y-o 1m winner, and resold for 55,000 gns earlier this year. Yard does well with fillies, so one to note if attracting market support.

Pedigree a mix of speed and stamina, but she seemed to lack gears when well beaten after a slow start at Wolverhampton (6f) recently. Hood retained, and others appear stronger.

Daughter of Dunaden who was always well placed when 3L second of 5 to Divinity on debut at Nottingham. Hard to quantify that form, but she is promising, and sure to improve.

Dunaden filly out of 5f-7f winner Interakt. Both yard's AW juvenile wins this year have come in nurseries, and she may be more of a long-term project.

Forecasts

Sweet Pearl (7/2), Fleursals (7/2), Falathaat (4/1), Gold At Midnight (4/1), Albanita (11/2), Innocent (7/1), Guroor (8/1), Eucalyptus (16/1), Wild Fruit (50/1), Lola's Theme (66/1)

Verdict

FALATHAAT has a very attractive US pedigree, and is unlikely to want for know-how on racecourse debut, so gets the vote. Sweet Pearl and Gold at Midnight both shaped with plenty of promise at the first time of asking and are the pick of those with experience, Guroor, Innocent and Eucalyptus are other newcomers worth noting in the market.
  1. Falathaat
  2. Gold At Midnight
  3. Sweet Pearl
