Pleasing seasonal debut when beaten a short-head on soft ground over this trip at Doncaster in April, but he's not really gone on from that. Running consistent races on turf, is 0-4 on the AW and might need a few pounds relief.
Won three times over C&D last season, has rather lost his way since scoring here in March however and hard to feel confident about him in current form.
3-8 on the AW for Ed Walker, all wins at Kempton and was poor on one try over this C&D. Has completely failed to fire in trio of turf starts this summer for new handler and looks best watched at the moment.
2-18 record on turf, both wins coming last year over 6f at Catterick. Just the one previous try on AW (poor) but ran well enough on turf last time out and so must be given a chance from 2lb above previous winning mark.
Won maiden/novice contest at Carlisle and Catterick last year, both over 6f on good to soft going, three efforts this summer (including on AW) have been laboured. Drops another few pounds and get first-time cheekpieces in bid to get back on track.
Five-year-old with 7-47 career record, including four AW wins. Latest success over 5½f at Bath in July, not getting any favours here being 6lb wrong at the weights.
Lightly-raced filly, won over 6f on good-to-soft at Catterick last October. Yet to really fire in three starts this term, though recent Haydock effort had more about it (6f, good to firm). Interesting recruit to this sphere and worth a look.
Had been bang out of form prior to finishing agonising second at Chepstow last week over 6f (good). Runs from 3lb lower mark on the AW and will take stopping with a repeat effort surely.
Experienced performer, likely to inject some pace, has won five times around here down the years, including in February over this trip off a mark of 52. Hasn't been great in two recent start after a short break.
Lightly-raced maiden, solid run over this trip at Wolverhampton last month and again at Redcar next time on turf. Disappointing favourite at Newcastle this month, no surprise to see him in the mix however
Distance winner on turf at Catterick last summer on soft going, his only success in 23 starts to date. Hasn't really screamed of adding to the tally in seven starts this year, needs the new cheekpieces fitted here to perk him up.
No win in 31 starts and tailed off last three, over 7f twice and latterly this trip at Nottingham. Overall profile is far from strong, and others make far more appeal.

SHOWMETHEWAYAVRILO was foiled in the dying embers at Chepstow last week, having shown much-improved form in building a solid challenge. Connections bid for compensation here, hoping to take advantage of a 3lb lower mark in this sphere and he'll take some halting in the same form. Chickenfortea has dropped close to his previous winning mark and looks worth another try on the AW while Liamba had been shaping well before a poor effort at Newcastle and can be forgiven that off-day. Biddy Brady could have more to offer on first AW start while the blinkers might help Optimickstickhill return to the form that saw her going close in a C&D nursery last winter
