REVEREND JACOBS looked the sort who could rapidly climb the handicapping ladder when most impressive in a competitive York handicap debut before a very disappointing run at Musselburgh. That was surely too bad to be his true running so he is given another chance here. Top weight Royal Reserve could hardly have won easier last time out so is a big danger running under a 6lb penalty. Petitioner will be more suited by this distance so is another who must be considered for a trainer always respected in handicaps here.
