Won on debut at Bath and bumped in to one at Newbury next time. In too deep at Royal Ascot and well beaten in a pair of Listed races since. Has a bit to prove up in this class and can race keenly in the early part of his races.
Improved from debut to win at Ripon next time and ran with credit in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. Confirmed the promise of that with a respectable second in Listed class at Sandown but has more on his plate here.
Got the better of a subsequent winner on debut in impressive fashion at Salisbury. Ran a big race in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. The third from that has come out and won in Listed company since and he's likely to continue on his upward curve.
Produced a debut full of promise at Lingfield and followed that with wins at Haydock and then Royal Ascot. That form looks rock solid and he will be hard to peg back if deploying the same tactics again. Yard in flying form at present.
Only narrowly denied on debut but gained compensation at Lingfield towards the end of last month. While he didn't need to improve to win a novice event at Chepstow, he couldn't have been more impressive and the fast 5f here should suit.
Won his first two starts, the second of those a Listed win at Sandown. Disappointed when favourite for the Norfolk Stakes last time out but still early days and not ruled out if he learns to settle better in his races.
Beaten favourite on his first two starts before justifying odds-on favouritsm at Salisbury. Well beaten in the Windsor Castle (won by Soldier's Call) and while he's won at Sandown since beating Life Of Riley, he'll do well to reverse the Ascot form.
Lost her maiden tag when dropped in class at Catterick last time. Would need a huge step forward to land a blow at this level though and previously well beaten at Royal Ascot.
Off the mark at the fifth attempt in a maiden at Navan but well beaten when upped in class at the Curragh last time out and she has plenty to find on official figures with several in here. More exposed than most.
Good second in a nice Ascot maiden on debut and she was an impressive winner of her next two starts. Blew out at Royal Ascot when prominent in the market but she remains with potential and first-time tongue-tie could see her to better effect.
Still a maiden after four starts and while she's run well in defeat at a lower level, it's hard to imagine her finding the requisite improvement here.
Forecasts
Soldier's Call (6/4), Rumble Inthejungle (5/1), Queen Of Bermuda (15/2), Vintage Brut (8/1), Fantasy (11/1), Street Parade (11/1), Well Done Fox (12/1), Life of Riley (16/1), Barbill (25/1), Deia Glory (66/1), Starchant (150/1)
SOLDIER'S CALL was impressive in the way he won the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and with more improvement likely, he's hard to oppose for a yard flying at present. At a likely bigger price, Street Parade isn't ruled out after an eye-catching performance at Chepstow. A first-time tongue-tie may see Queen Of Bermuda in a better light after her below par effort at the Royal meeting.
- Soldier's Call
- Street Parade
- Queen Of Bermuda
