Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: Rowan Scott(3)| T: N Tinkler| OR:  63

Has failed to hit the frame in four starts from 5f to 6f, latterly in a nursery. Stable going well, but he is hard to make a strong case for.

Zebedee colt who cost €20,000 this year, having fetched only €3,000 as a foal and €9,000 as a yearling. The upward trend suggests he has some substance about him so he is worth a check in the betting on debut.

5/4
Harbour Watch colt who is a half-brother to 1m2f winner Huddersfilly Town and two-year-old 6f winner Dorcas. Did his best work at the finish when third of seven over C&D on debut and should know a lot more this time.

Has shown a fair level of ability on both starts at Hamilton and Wolverhampton. Has been held up both times and would probably be better served by more positive tactics from his plum inside stall.

Stimulation colt who cost 10,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to eight winners up to 1m. Probably best watched on this racecourse debut.

Alhebayeb filly who cost €16,000 yearling and is a half-sister to six winners, mainly sprinters. Always behind on debut over C&D on debut and looks a work in progress.

10/1
Iffraaj filly who fetched 20,000 gns as a yearling and whose dam was placed over 6f. A stable companion of Mr Diamond, she is one to keep an eye on as she makes her debut.

Off the mark at the fourth attempt when winning a Catterick claimer earlier this month. More probably required to win this, but at least she knows how to win.

Filly by Coach House who cost only €5,000 this year and is from the family of the useful De Bruyne Horse. Worth a check in the betting on debut.

No great promise in both starts at Wetherby and Catterick. Hard to recommend and will probably be better suited to nurseries.

Forecasts

Northernpowerhouse (5/4), Mr Diamond (9/4), Magical Spirit (10/1), Zealous Lady (10/1), Kalissi (11/1), Dancing Rave (20/1), Bouncin Back (20/1), Under Curfew (25/1), Cheeky Lola (25/1), You Little Beauty (50/1)

Verdict

Magical Spirit and Zealous Lady are a pair of newcomers who could make an impact and the latter's stable companion Mr Diamond should be thereabouts after a couple of decent efforts. Kalissi enters calculations after her win in a claimer, but the interesting one is NORTHERNPOWERHOUSE, who shaped with plenty of promise on debut over C&D and should be sharper this time.
  1. Northernpowerhouse
  2. Mr Diamond
  3. Magical Spirit
