Was beginning to look a frustrating type until getting up in the last stride over a mile at Kempton last time out. Raised 3lb but there could be improvement to come over this longer trip and won't be far away.
Doesn't look obviously well handicapped on evidence so far this term and has been a beaten favourite in two of his last four starts. Was fair second here however on racecourse bow so return to this tight circuit may help.
Hampered at start on most recent outing which is best over looked. Better judged on previous win over course and distance when led last stride. Has shown little form away from this track so sensible having another go here.
Well backed but ultimately well beaten at Nottingham last time where didn't look the easiest of rides. This track might be quite a challenge on that score so on balance others are preferrred.
Unexposed Animal Kingdom gelding who makes his handicap bow stepping up from a mile last time when beaten less than three lengths in Lingfield novice event. Represents a top yard and good apprentice claims valuable 3lb so is of definite interest.
Hasn't been allowed to lead since making all at Goodwood over this trip early last month. Back to same mark now and if jumping out in front may make a bold bid so is worth considering.
40/1 runner-up here last time over extended seven furlongs and this longer trip may help his cause. Gets lots of wieght and with rider's 7lb claim a decent disaply cannot be rule dout once again.
Forecasts
Faadhel (5/2), Zatorius (3/1), Amazing Michele (7/2), King Tut (6/1), Danzay (13/2), Institution (10/1), Rockesbury (12/1)
This is a trappy contest and the marginal vote goes to KING TUT who makes his handicap bow having shown some promise in novice events and may improve for this longer trip. Top weight Faadhel may also be better at this distance having needed every yard of the mile to win on the nod last time at Kempton. If allowed to lead, Danzay could be dangerous having made all at Goodwood earlier in the term, while Amazing Michele is respected having won here in the past and been hampered early on in her latest outing.
- King Tut
- Faadhel
- Danzay
