Has been known to over exert herself on the way to the start and then have little left for the finish. Hard to fault latest form with the runner-up scoring since but, stepping back up to a mile, she needs to be on her best behaviour.

Irish import who appeared not to get 1m2f on stable debut when ridden closer to the pace than when scoring at Sligo. Gets stronger handling here and has to be taken seriously.

Respected on first run in a class 6 contest. However, she has underperformed on all her AW starts and was particularly poor here in February.

Won a class 3 handicap (7f) at Kempton off a mark of 82 in 2016. Ridden positively on stable debut following a lengthy absence and had every chance until headed a furlong out. Will come on for the run but yet to prove she stays a mile.

Had been running to a consistent level until underperforming last time and blinkers are refitted. Stable back amongst the winners so worth checking in the market.

10/1
Triple course winner who took advantage of a good mark on penultimate start. Easy to back next time at Wolverhampton when tailed off so there is a question mark against him.

Five of his eight career victories have come at Brighton, whilst victories at Epsom and Goodwood confirm a bias towards undulating circuits. His form on AW tracks, including here, is far less appealing.

18-race maiden who can be overlooked following a poor run of form for some time including all three starts this campaign.

Opened his account in a class 7 contest (6f) here in February. Beaten over 5f last week and had form over this trip in 2016.

Record of 2-45 and now below the mark he scored from in February. Particularly poor on last two starts and has had a two month break.

Scraped home in a poor four-runner event last week when the size of the field was said to be a contributory factor. Looks opposable therefore in a stronger lineup of greater numbers.

Forecasts

Vixen (11/8), The Lords Walk (11/2), Three Gracez (7/1), Highland Pass (8/1), Delicate Kiss (10/1), Soaring Spirits (10/1), Percy Toplis (16/1), Major Assault (16/1), Live Dangerously (20/1), Musical Fire (20/1), Cadeaux Boxer (25/1), Dukes Meadow (33/1)

Verdict

Vixen has her quirks but if she settles in the preliminaries she is sure to be a factor. THE LORDS WALK catches the eye with Oisin Murphy replacing a claimer and having scored at Sligo under a patient ride. He was probably ridden closer to the pace than ideal last time and the form of his victory at Dundalk in March has worked out well. The market should provide a guide to the rest with Three Gracez, Soaring Spirits and Highland Pass the types to consider if coming in for support.
  1. The Lords Walk
  2. Vixen
  3. Three Gracez
