Fair performer on the AW and although he's without a win for a while he has run with credit of late but came from too far back last time over almost 2f further. Held off this mark the last twice and beaten off lower he may struggle for pace over 7f.

Twice beaten in sellers this year and really should be winning at that level (below his best all season). Now back at 7f after running over sprint trips on the last four occasions he still above his last winning mark back on the AW.

Still a maiden (0-21) and whilst he's capable of some good runs the inconsistent nature of his profile makes it hard to recommend him. Ran well here over 1m on his penultimate start but still looked a weak finisher (not for the first time).

Has shown some ability and has a pedigree which suggests she would be better over further than this 7f. Failed to get involved over this trip at Thirsk last time and drops into this basement grade for the first time with cheekpieces now used.

Usually runs with credit here (dual C&D 0-55 winner) and ran well over hurdles recently so there are no fitness questions. Has been tried a various trips on the Flat but this suits him best and respected on the back of his previous course efforts.

Below form on his first start for this yard in a new headgear combination over 6f (trip looked too short) in a selling handicap. Now back on the AW (both wins have come on synthetic surfaces) and off her last winning mark; more needed.

C&D winner looking as though he was suited by the trip and finally bounced back to form last time (slipped to a career-low mark). Did best of those who helped to force a strong pace and interesting again off a 2lb higher mark kept to this grade.

One of five three-year-olds in the field and makes her handicap debut having had just one outing for this yard. Didn't show much in a Ripon 1m maiden but left the impression that handicaps (off a low mark) will see some progress; note a market move.

Looked as though this course winner may have something to offer for his new yard based on his first two starts for them. Hasn't built on that early promise though with his last two outings being well below-par even in this low-grade.

Half-brother to several winners but looks a long way from having inherited any of their ability. Tailed off in all five starts in maidens and handicaps and looks of little account dropped back to 7f; hard to recommend.

Mark had reached a career-low when she stole a race from the front on the AW (1m) in first-time cheekpieces. Same tactics failed to pay off last time (contested pace) and she failed to stay over the same trip; continues to be hard to make all here.

One of the lesser lights in a yard that is going well her first two handicap starts looked to be over trips too short for her (on pedigree). Tried over 1m last time (ran free) she's worth a try over 7f; better than this mark (note market support).

Should be better than he's shown looking at his pedigree but both his handicaps so far have produced poor displays. Back on the AW after trying turf for the first time but no real hope based on his form so far dropped to a career-low mark.

Looks a poor maiden (0-9) on what she's shown so far with even her best form only classed as modest. Beaten twice before in handicaps of this quality and other offer more solid options.

Forecasts

Supreme Power (11/4), Great Colaci (4/1), Top Offer (4/1), Pitch High (7/1), Miss Bates (14/1), Ingleby Molly (16/1), Ayton (16/1), Prezzie (16/1), Someone Exciting (20/1), Mossy's Lodge (33/1), Working Together (33/1), Mount Cheiron (40/1), Hocus Focus (66/1), Got My Mojo (150/1)

Verdict

Modest fare with most of these struggling even in this grade but here may be some hope a couple of the three-year-olds who have less convictions than most here. Ayton comes from a yard that are in good form and produced a similar winner at a big price on Sunday so any market support should be noted. INGLEBY MOLLY hasn’t quite been able to show her best so far and it would come as no surprise if she was able to show herself better than her current mark. Great Colaci returns to a course which appears to suit him well and he along with Pitch High looks the best of the older horses although neither are bombproof options.
  1. Ingleby Molly
  2. Pitch High
  3. Great Colaci
