Left Ben Haslam for £6,000 in May, and didn't take long to lose the maiden tag, making all to win on her second start for this trainer at Leicester (1m, good to firm); 7lb higher, so more required.
C&D winner from a 13lb higher mark (Class 5) in July 2016, but plenty of time has passed since and he's struggled to win; runner-up to Foxy Rebel off a similar mark over C&D in June (11/8f), so perhaps his talented riders 7lb claim is the solution.
Knocked firmly at the door since winning off an 8lb lower mark at Ayr in May (1m, good to firm), and with his trainer amongst the winners at Catterick on Wednesday is more appealing than the majority.
Won just once in 19 starts, but admittedly has raced on turf just seven times; not discounted on a couple of second placed efforts (notably behind the thriving Midnight Blue at Wolverhampton in May), but not so sharp over 7f latest.
Best effort so far when finishing a never nearer 2L third to Directory on handicap debut at Kempton (1m) last week; turned out quickly seeking to build upon that effort, with stamina in her family line (half-sister to the stayer Prospectus).
C&D winner in May (from a 2lb higher mark), but hard to enthuse over his more recent efforts which were well below the required standard, hence the application of first-time blinkers; risky.
Sprung a 16/1 shock when winning at Redcar in May (1m, good to firm), but has acquitted herself well enough off her elevated mark since - twice placed, including over C&D in June.
Saw off Shamaheart by ½L over C&D last month to record a first career win; had the run of the race there and that form isn't particularly strong; excuses (slow start/trip) when well beaten at Ayr since.
Left her previous form light years behind when scooting clear to win by 4L in first-time blinkers (retained) at Ayr recently; escapes a penalty for that apprentices handicap win (due a 9lb rise); holds five further entries between 22nd-24th of July.

Forecasts
Rebel State (3/1), Eponina (3/1), Travel Lightly (4/1), Thundercloud (13/2), Shamaheart (8/1), Celtic Artisan (8/1), Dame Vera (10/1), Thornaby Nash (20/1), Zapateado (20/1), Foxy Rebel (33/1)
Dame Vera is clearly learning the ropes and rates as an interesting runner for Hughie Morrison, whilst the consistent Rebel State makes plenty more appeal than most others with Jedd O'Keeffe in the winners at Catterick on Wednesday. However, whilst taking a slight chance on the blinkers continuing to have the desired effect, you'd be foolhardy to ignore the unpenalised Ayr winner TRAVEL LIGHTLY. She looked to be a totally transformed filly when scooting clear at odds of 33/1 (albeit in a weak race), and holds a plethora of future entries in the days ahead.
