Bahri half-brother to moderate Flat maiden Admiral Rodney. Weakened alarmingly in a bumper at Warwick in April, which doesn't augur well for this belated Flat debut.
Cape Cross half-brother to Cambridgeshire third Very Talented from a successful South American family. Improved on promising debut when winning a Hamilton maiden by 6L last time, and better expected here. Hard to beat.
By High Chaparral and from an excellent Juddmonte Farms family, but sold very cheaply as a two-year-old, which sets alarm bells ringing. Market useful on debut.
Full-brother to connections' listed Scarborough Stakes (5f) winner Justineo. Well held in novice over this trip at Windsor last month, and has since been gelded.
Unfashionably bred gelding who has shown only a modicum of ability in two starts, and has plenty on his plate here.

Desert Fire (1/16), Hamlul (5/4), Jaquar (9/2), Constituent (25/1), Speedy Lost Sock (50/1), Admiral Anson (66/1)
Only DESERT FIRE and Hamlul make much appeal here, with the former, an easy winner of a Hamilton maiden, readily preferred to Sir Michael Stoute's Kempton runner-up. Constituent and Jaquar are bred to be useful, but the latter showed little on debut before being gelded, and Constituent was sold worryingly cheaply last autumn.
