Course winner who got back to winning ways when winning here last month over 6f (beat Confessional). Well below that par when beaten at Salisbury last time out (slow away) whereas he had led around here when wining the time before. Not badly drawn.

Came back to form last time having not promised much in his starts prior to that (cheekpieces on for 2nd time) over C&D. Not the most consistent of sorts though and given an 8lb rise for that last win; needs more to win again.

Losing run now stretches back to his juvenile days but can't have said to have run badly this last season at all. Would have more than likely needed his comeback run ay Ripon after a wind op (finished last); best watched for now.

Still capable of winning a race like this even at the veteran stage and he's produced a couple of solid efforts of late. Slipped 5lb below his last winning mark now so not ignored here at all although his draw in stall 9 is a little awkward.

Makes her first start for this yard having previously been with Michael Herrington and was highly tried when last seen for that stable in Listed company. Drops down to handicaps here but 0-6 on turf and a better performer on an AW surface.

Looked as though his good reappearance run may lead to something (2nd at Doncaster off this mark) but he's gone backwards since then. Out of the handicap in a good Curragh handicap last time but looked to be going through the motions; well drawn.

Dual C&D winner with one of those wins coming in a purple patch for this yard back in 2015. Been round the block since then and now back with this yard but has shown little of late and others make more appeal.

Nottingham winner in May when producing a career-best to win the same race two years running. Looked to enjoy the 6f trip there and may well find this return to 5f a little sharp and still 2lb above her last winning mark.

Given a break and back on turf he scored at the second time of asking for his new yard winning in the style of one who had more to come (has fallen in the weights). Raided 6lb for that win he still looks on a handy mark from a good draw.

Produced a career-best when winning at Leicester although that victory came in a race where a few of the principals ran below-par. Unable to back that run up under a penalty and ran poorly and likely to find life tough off this mark.

0-19 on the turf and 3lb out of the handicap plus a draw on the wide outside of the field hardly paint a compelling picture for this one. Hard to recommend.

9lb wrong in the weights and with a poor draw his chances are limited and others are preferred under those circumstances.

Forecasts

Equally Fast (3/1), Computable (9/2), Lucky Beggar (5/1), Confessional (13/2), Zac Brown (13/2), Venturous (7/1), Socialites Red (9/1), Teepee Time (25/1), Dazacam (40/1), Red Stripes (50/1), I'll Be Good (50/1), Mighty Zip (100/1)

Verdict

Good end to the card and this is sure to be fast and furious with some good fortune in-running needed. EQUALLY FAST is well drawn in stall 3 and given his mark and how he races he looks as though he can follow-up his Bath win at the expense Computable who is well berthed but has an 8lb rise to cope with and hasn’t been the most consistent in the past. Course winners Zac Brown and Confessional must also enter the picture with the former needing to bounce back from a poor run last time when he was slow away and he won’t be able to afford that around here and the latter has a wide draw to cope with. Both Lucky Beggar and Socialites Red are well drawn and that has to help their chances.
  1. Equally Fast
  2. Computable
  3. Confessional
