Improving with every start this year and only narrowly denied a four-timer at York last month behind Encrypted. 5lb rise makes life tougher but the third has already franked the form of his win last time and he's clearly thriving at present.
Very smart juvenile but yet to show that he's improved from two to three-years-old and well beaten at Royal Ascot when last seen, albeit in Group 1 class. Return to handicaps is a positive and he's not without each-way claims.
Finished a respectable fourth of 20 behind a couple of these at York two starts back but didn't really build on that at Newcastle last time. Others probably better handicapped.
A winner at Redcar as a juvenile and while that's his sole success in six starts, he's run well in defeat in a couple of handicaps. Interesting if the drop back in trip brings about some improvement.
Well beaten in his hat-trick bid behind several of these at York last time. May want a step up to 7f to be seen at his best and needs improvement to land a blow here.
Won his first two starts of the season but his propensity to miss the break has scuppered his chances on his last two outings. Has his first start since a wind operation here and others make more appeal.
Inconsistent sort but ran well when only beaten 1L in a valuable AW Championships race at Lingfield when last seen. Interesting runner on return to turf on a feasible handicap mark and yard have been flying so far this season.
Improved from his reappearance to win a valuable and competitive handicap at York last time out. Rates as the type to carry on improving this year and only up 6lb for that success. Should run well.
Denied in her hat-trick bid at York last time out when fifth behind several of these including Encrypted. Yard have hit some form in recent weeks and that was the first time since her debut she's finished outside the first three. Place claims.
All four of his wins have come on AW. Ran with credit here when third on return to turf in April. Has struggled a little on two subsequent starts but he's better than that and he gets the services of a jockey who rides this course well.
Improving and has won both his starts in 2018, getting the better of a subsequent winner over 6f on the Rowley course when last seen. Handicapper hasn't gone overboard with a 7lb rise and should continue to improve.
Has only won two of her 12 starts. Ran well in Listed company at Sandown in June but has struggled at pattern level since and handicap mark has taken a hit. Can't be entirely ruled out dropped in class with the step up in trip likely to suit.
Impressive winner at Windsor last year but he's been well below his best in two starts this year but he's been well below form in two outings this year. Needs first-time cheekpieces to spark a return to form.
A winner of two of his four starts this year and made all at Ripon last time out. May struggle up at this level though from a higher mark.
Well beaten on his sole start as a juvenile but returned with a win at Chelmsford in April. Not at his best on soft ground at Epsom but he wasn't beaten far at Sandown last time and he's been dropped 2lb for that run. Should run well.
Belatedly off the mark at Windsor on his 11th start and followed up under a penalty over the same C&D last time out. Will find this much tougher from his revised mark though and he looks up against it in his hat-trick bid.
Has won three of his five starts including a C&D success and he's seen at his best when allowed to dominate from the front, as seen on his last couple of starts. Well in under a penalty here but may find it tough to dominate these rivals.
Denied in his hat-trick bid behind several of these at York last time but he met interference that day. Still unexposed and not necessarily the second string given the light weight he carries. Should run well.
Arrives here bidding for a four-timer after a course win over 5f last time out. Only up 4lb for that win and the step back up in trip may help him defy the rise. Not ruled out.
Looked like a smart prospect last year but hard to fancy after a trio of disappointments this campaign in a race this competitive.

The owner of TADBIR and Jawwaal won this race last year and both his runners have live chances this time around. Preference is for Tadbir with the drop in trip likely to suit and the handicapper has shown some leniency dropping him 2lb for his latest effort. Encrypted had many of these in behind at York last time and may be capable of confirming the form with just a 6lb rise to cope with.
- Tadbir
- Encrypted
- Jawwaal
