Addition of blinkers (retained since) appeared to bring about a return to form when winning over this trip at Thirsk (good-to-firm on his penultimate start. Finished runner-up over C&D subsequently and took this off a 3lb lower mark 12 months ago.
Victorious in a claimer over 7f at Redcar (good-to-firm) last month and a fair effort when fifth over the same trip back in handicap company subsequently. Likely more needed in this contest.
Out of form since returning this season and handicap mark is falling as a result. Races off a mark 13lb lower than when winning over C&D in July last year.
Dual winner and recorded his first placed effort this term when finishing third over an extended 1m at Hamilton (soft) last time out. Best efforts have come with cut in the ground.
Victorious by a nose over this trip at Redcar (good-to-firm) on his penultimate start. Decent effort over the same C&D when sixth subsequently and is of interest once more.
Successful three times on turf last year but out of form in four outings this time around. Handicap mark is falling as a result and races off a mark 4lb lower than for his most recent victory.
Placed the last twice including when third over 1m at Newmarket (good-to-firm) last time out. Interesting to see how he fares racing off the same mark here.
Novice stakes winner over 7f at Brighton (good-to-firm) last August. Failed to back up a decent effort at Yarmouth (1m, good-to-firm) on his penultimate outing when well beaten last time but remains open to improvement.
Six time winner and placed on his first two starts this term. Disappointed the last twice however and others hold stronger claims on this occasion.
Fair sixth on the AW over an extended 1m when making his seasonal debut at Wolverhampton in April. Worth a check in the market back on turf.
Maiden after 15 starts and absent since finishing sixth over C&D on good ground last August. Making her stable and seasonal debut in this event.
Signs of a return to form when finishing third over 1m at Ayr (good-to-firm) on his penultimate start. Struggled next time however and more needed if he's to record a victory from out of the handicap.
