Sire influence for speed, dam stayed 2m2f and clear promise shown on handicap debut over 1m2f where she struggled to go the pace. She made up a lot of ground from the home turn and this longer trip off a lower mark could be the answer.

Previously raced in Chile and Norway before opening her account here in May. The step up to this trip produced significant improvement, but this looks a much stronger contest and she is 4lb higher in the weights.

Without a win since August 2014. Will be happier at this trip than last time and rider 4-13 for the yard in 2018, but others still look more likely.

Produced a career best on penultimate start before stepping up to 2m at Kempton. Had plenty go wrong that day and he could surprise a few granted more luck this time.

Improved for a step up in trip on the Fibresand when last seen in January. Will probably need this after six months on the sidelines.

Appeared to be heading the right way on her second start, but took a backward step last time. Up in trip for handicap debut and others have stronger claims.

Has finished last in three of his five starts including at Yarmouth last time when beaten 42L. Makes no appeal whatsoever from 10lb out of the weights.

Verdict

Ginger Lady and Mount Cleshar are lightly raced and open to improvement at this trip, but this looks likely to be fought out between Sanam and TROUBLE AND STRIFE. The former is on a hat-trick and a 3lb rise for his latest success should be manageable. However, a tendency to hang under pressure may see the concession of 13lb to the selection a tough ask. Sir Mark Prescott's three-year-olds have been mopping up low grade handicaps in the past few days and this filly caught the eye on last week's return when shaping as though she would improve for the run and this longer trip.
  1. Trouble And Strife
  2. Sanam
  3. Mount Cleshar
