Heron ran well over C&D last time and needs considering, and he is closely matched on form with Moans Cross, another with claims. However, preference is for KNIGHT COMMANDER. Olly Murphy's charge has run well over hurdles on his last two starts despite falling at Southwell when last seen, and has also shown some ability at this level on that Flat (despite remaining a maiden in this sphere). He finished third off this mark at Chelmsford in October when unlucky in-running, and could go two better today.
