A dual 1m Brighton scorer as a juvenile (good to soft), but ran well enough on his first attempt over further at Haydock latest (fifth), so a slight surprise to see him dropped 3lb by the handicapper.

Verdict

Despite competing in a slightly stronger race tonight, it's difficult to escape the alluring claims of last week's decisive Salisbury winner WICKED SEA. Reunited with 7lb claimer Seamus Cronin, this improving Zebedee filly should take some stopping in a race where the remainder are much of a muchness. Carlini competes as another previous winner (Windsor), but Richard Hannon (the trainer of the selection) should have a good line as to his likely ability through the less fancied stablemate and rival Roundhead.
