Finished fourth on three of his last four starts including over 6f at Windsor (good) last time out. Handles this trip and worth a check in the market.
Struggled since finishing runner-up over C&D in March. Races off a 2lb lower mark here and blinkers worn for the first time on latest start are left off for this.
Progressive individual and a winner over 7f at Newcastle on seasonal debut prior to finishing third over the same trip at Goodwood (good-to-soft) subsequently. races off the same mark as for that Goodwood effort.
Finished runner-up on his first two starts this year and has run well in a higher grade the last twice. One to note having placed off this mark in the past.
Held in three starts since joining this yard including over 6f at Windsor (good) last time out. Handicap mark is falling as a result and market support would be notable here.
Improving with racing this term and finished 2L third over 6f at Goodwood (soft) last time out. Has won over this trip in the past and is an interesting runner once more.
Put a slightly disappointing C&D effort behind him when winning at Wolverhampton last time out. Races off a 5lb higher mark on his return from a break.
Finished fourth in a competitive Ascot handicap over 6f last month. Disappointed over the same trip subsequently and returning to the AW should see him in a better light.
Six race maiden but ran well when finishing third over 1m here last time out. Remains open to improvement and is one to note dropping in trip.
Lightly-raced for one his age and proved a disappointment when a well held fifth at Yarmouth (7f, good-to-firm) on seasonal debut last time. No surprise if he leaves that running behind on his return to the AW.
Finished runner-up on heavy ground at Salisbury when making his seasonal debut in April. Well beaten next time however and more needed in this.
Successful over C&D in February and recorded his best effort since when finishing fifth over 1m last time out. Worth a check in the market.
Dual course winner including over this trip on seasonal debut last week. One for the shortlist carrying a 6lb penalty for that success.
Winner over this trip at Wolverhampton in April and ran well to finish fourth behind Treacherous over C&D last week. Bit to find with that rival on this occasion.
Forecasts
Crafty Madam (3/1), Treacherous (5/1), Ubla (6/1), Noble Star (6/1), Portledge (10/1), Zain Star (10/1), Lightning Charlie (11/1), Dark Side Dream (12/1), Six Strings (16/1), Glory of Paris (20/1), Nezar (25/1), Magic Mirror (33/1), Another Boy (33/1), Shyron (33/1)
NEZAR is taken to follow up his Wolverhampton victory by taking the penultimate race on the card. The selection has to defy a 5lb rise for that success and can see off recent C&D winner Treacherous with Dark Side Dream capable of finishing third dropping in grade.
- Nezar
- Treacherous
- Dark Side Dream
