Well backed and won in style on just second start for new stable. The drop in trip and switch to quicker clearly suited and although handicapper has reacted with an 11lb rise there should be more to come.
Got no run over C&D last start following previous success. Down 1lb and in grade and should be competitive.
Rattled up a hat-trick last year and now 11lb below last winning mark but form starting to look regressive and last start offers little confidence.
Former C&D winner and racing off competitive mark but needs to bounce back from a disappointing performance.
Sole win came in a maiden in 2014 and proving tough to win with despite four solid placed efforts. Questionable this drop in trip will suit.
Backed up recent win with a solid fifth off this higher mark last time. Would perhaps prefer easier conditions but has claims once again.
Hasn't won on the turf for a while but latest third suggested a win may not be far away. On a very good mark and well drawn to take a prominent position.
Lightly raced and open to further progress after breakthrough success in C&D seller. Will find life tougher back in handicap company.
Tailed off and failed to beat a horse home in two starts so far for this stable and best watched for now.
Yet to win for current stable but posted a solid performance on seasonal debut. Would prefer softer ground but place possibilities.
Well held in three starts since joining this stable and needs first time cheekpieces to bring some significant improvement.
Kept on well when second off this mark on fourth run in quick succession. Questionable whether drop in trip and faster ground will suit.
Races from out of the handicap and was unfancied and well beaten on latest stable debut.
Sole win came back in 2014 and well beaten in last two starts. Hard to make a case for from out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Only Spoofing (11/10), Groundworker (6/1), Foxy Boy (7/1), Equilibrium (9/1), Imperial Legend (12/1), Moonlit Sands (14/1), Unnoticed (16/1), Racquet (20/1), Robbian (25/1), Pearl Noir (28/1), Mount Hellvelyn (33/1), Jazz Legend (33/1), Sunnyside Bob (50/1), Spoken Words (100/1)
A big field and as is usually the case it may pay to concentrate on the low drawn horses. ONLY SPOOFING won with any amount in hand and despite the rise could still be well ahead of the handicapper. Groundworker is also well drawn against the rail and has dropped to a very competitive mark. Racquet is in a high number but has the pace to get across and rates a chance down in class.
- Only Spoofing
- Groundworker
- Racquet
