Cost 30,000 guineas at Tatts sales last September, bred to do well over this sort of trip and related to a few good winners, but no immediate promise on debut at Newmarket earlier in the month. Others preferred.
Purchased for £24,000 at Breeze-Ups in April, half-brother to three winners (from 7f-1m2f) but yard just 2-31 with their 2-y-o's here and 2-22 first time up over the last year. Best watched unless market says otherwise.
Purchased for £25,000 at Goffs Doncaster last August, half-brother to winner Sauchiehall Street (over 1m and 1m4f). Some promise on pedigree but likely to need a run or two before finding his feet, and others preferred.
Had two starts already and progressed a little from his first start to his second. One for nurseries further down the line after today.
Cost £23,000 at Tatts Ascot sales last year, is a half-brother to the speedy Flying Foxy and should find this a suitable test on debut. Yard have and excellent strike rate at the track with their 2-y-o's and he has a good draw to work from.
Cheap purchase but bred for speed, and related to a speedy winner in Lostinparadise (twice a winner at sprint trips in France.). Yard rarely have first time up winners though, so best watched today.
Relatively cheap purchase at Tatts October sales last year dam a half-sister to a couple of smart sorts but yard just 2-18 with their 2-y-o's here last five seasons and 1-18 with them first time out. On that, others preferred.
Cost just £1,000 at the Breeze-Ups in April and last of nine on debut at Bath earlier in the month. No realistic chance on that here.
Half-brother to a couple of winners at this sort of trip (and further), improved a little on his second run when finishing midfield at Chepstow but likely to find others a bit quicker here.
Speedy half-brother Ready To Roc won on debut (over 5f) and she makes plenty of appeal on paper as well. Yard 18% strike rate with them first time up and are having a good season, so plenty to like about her chances if wound up today.
Relatively cheap purchase last year and on pedigree, only makes limited appeal. Yard 0-40 last year with their charges first time up, and on that, she's an unlikely winner here.

The second division of the Novice Auction stakes, but no easier to solve than the first. QUIRKY GERTIE is bred to be speedy and has a decent draw to work from, so may be able to provide another winner for the Mick Channon yard, having a good time of it this year. Urban Icon represents a yard with an excellent strike rate with their juveniles here and should be respected, with Even Keel and Society Shack making some appeal for the places.
