Showed promise in two runs in September at Brighton (6f, good) and here (7f, good to soft). Looked in need of the run on her reappearance back here last month. Should be better for that and could make an impact in her handicap debut.

Scored on her second start at Ascot (6f, soft) in September and went close to defying a penalty at Kempton (7f) next time. Her reappearance was no more than a reasonable effort but if at her best then she is very interesting from this mark.

Looked like she would be capable of winning races when appearing at both Newbury (6f, good) and here (7f, good) in the autumn, though disappointed when last seen at Chelmsford (1m, AW) in November. Potential from this mark on handicap debut.

Steady improvement in three runs so far, the most recent when placed (beaten over 6L) at Nottingham (1m½f, good to soft) in October. Hood now utilised. Initial mark looks stiff enough, but stable in good form and she is not ruled out.

Recorded soft ground wins at both Doncaster (5f) and Nottingham (6f) in the first half of last season. Has been competitive without winning since switching to handicaps. Unexposed over 1m, dropped 2lb and in headgear, she is interesting.

Makes her turf debut here on the back of a much-improved effort on Chelmsford's Polytrack (1m) last month when a 1L second. On that evidence she has a squeak from this initial mark, provided she can back up that performance.

Scored on her second start in a fast ground Salisbury novices' contest over 6f last June. Maintained that level of form in all three subsequent starts, the last two in handicaps. Nudged up 1lb for reappearance but should be competitive.

Made steady improvement in her three starts last year, culminating in a novices' win at Wolverhampton (7f, AW) in December. Step up in trip looks positive for her handicap debut from a mark that will require further progress.

Placed in a novices' event at Kempton (1m, AW) in August. Well held on handicap debut at Yarmouth (1m2f, good to firm) last month. 3lb lower today but still needs to improve on that effort to figure.

Has made the frame in a novices' event and three modest handicaps. Already looks exposed and despite the 2lb drop going into this, others make more appeal.

Shrugged off some pretty moderate form to spring a 16/1 surprise at Redcar (1m, good to firm) earlier in the month. 7lb rise for that looks stiff and he will do well to successfully follow-up.

Verdict

An open looking fillies' handicap where the market should be a good guide but without that advance knowledge the suggestion is PRINCESS HARLEY, who looked like she would come on for her reappearance and could make a big impact on her handicap debut. There are plenty of potential dangers lining up, with Point Hope, Odyssa, Final Treat and Naqaawa among them, while Holy Tiber, Astolat and Simply Breathless are others who it could be foolish to put a line through.
