Invincible Spirit colt, half-brother to Listed winner and dam a Group 3 winner as a juvenile and half-sister to US Grade 1 winner. Won in fine style on debut (been green before the race) but a beaten odds on favourite on next start. More to come.
Stimulation colt, cost 32,000 gns as a yearling. Brother to a juvenile sprint winner and dam a French AW winner, a half-sister to Listed placed Private Dancer. Impressive debut winner and should improve for a yard in flying form.
Acclamation colt, cost €44,000 as a foal and £50,000 as a yearling. Full-brother to 6f juvenile winner and dam related to useful stayers. Yard's debutantes often need the run.
Dark Angel colt, cost €50,000 as a yearling. Dam a juvenile winner over this trip and half-sister to a Listed winner. Yard have a good strike-rate with their two-year-olds including debutantes and market should prove revealing.
Alhebayeb colt, cost £55,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to Group placed juvenile Kings Guest and dam a useful stayer. Yard can ready a debutante but this colt may want further than this.
Kodiac colt, cost 160,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a juvenile winner and sister to Group 3 winning sprinter. Another yard that has a good record with juveniles and market should prove revealing.
Requinto colt, cost €10,000 as a foal and €34,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to a winning sprinter. May need this run on debut. Also entered at Windsor on Monday.
Alhebayeb colt, cost €45,000 as a yearling. Brother to a winner and half-brother to six winners including sprinters. Dam has a middle distance pedigree. Interesting runner here for a yard that have a fair strike-rate with debutantes.
Oxbow colt, cost $215,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to a Listed winner Seruni and several placed at Stakes level in US. Green on debut and may do better when tried over further.
Dragon Pulse colt, cost €12,000 as a foal and £25,000 as a yearling. Dam unraced but was a half-sister to an Irish Oaks winner. Yard have been prolific so far this season so not ruled out despite fears he may want further.
Forecasts
Dave Dexter (13/8), Blown By Wind (3/1), Dark Shadow (9/2), Great Respect (11/1), Mutawaffer (12/1), Sir Ox (14/1), Two Blondes (16/1), Sirinapha (28/1), Revich (33/1), Amplify (40/1)
The benefit of experience could play a big part here and DAVE DEXTER was an impressive winner at Newbury on debut and is taken to get the better of this field. Blown By Wind is another who made an eye-catching debut and is perhaps best forgiven his effort last time when a beaten odds-on favourite. There's plenty of debutantes with nice pedigrees in here and Dark Shadow makes most appeal from the remainder.
