Scored off 1lb lower mark over C&D last season and should appreciate the better surface having run with little zest at Windsor a couple of weeks ago. Plenty of weight but by no means out of it.
Yard gone more than eight months without a winner on the Flat. Outran her 50/1 odds on seasonal bow at Windsor when fourth in fair 6f handicap. May have turned over a new leaf so this unexposed filly is not without hope.
Recorded first win in 13 career starts when landing Lingfield AW 6f handicap. Not disgraced in two subsequent outings including at Windsor last time so a fair display is not out of the reckoning.
Two years since last success which came off a 16lb higher mark. Has produced the occasional decent run since then but overall has a regressive profile and is hard to enthuse over.
Run fair races without troubling the judge in two recent starts here but does have the look of a horse who could do with a little more help from the handicapper.
Nine-time winner but this veteran apepars to have very much lost his way this year beating just one horse home in three outings on AW. Did run well over this C&D last year though and off lowly mark can't be completely dismissed.
Scored over 6f at Southwell in March but didn't last home over 7f last time. Champion jockey booked and this prominent racer may not be far away this time back at a more suitable trip.
Assessor has taken a chance dropping her 6lb after her first in a handicap where she showed speed. First-time hood now applied and decent apprentice claims 3lb so could well run a big race for yard that does so well with sprinters.
Has done well for a modest sprinter winning eight races to date. Went close last time over C&D and shouldn't be far away once again on that evidence.
Shown nothing in five starts so far and makes handicap bow off very low mark. Even so looks to be up against and would be a shock winner.

Forecasts
Mooroverthebridge (3/1), Black Truffle (10/3), Deben (9/2), Major Assault (6/1), Burauq (17/2), Langley Vale (10/1), Prominna (12/1), Fantasy Justifier (18/1), Spellmaker (25/1), Amberine (25/1), Hit The Lights (25/1), Ritas Legacy (33/1)
AMBERINE represents the most successful yard at this track over the last five years and has been given a real chance being dropped 6lb from her initial handicap effort. She looks worth taking a chance on. With the champion jockey in the plate northern raider Deben is very much respected and could be a real danger, while Mooreoverthebridge and Major Assault are others who come into the reckoning in an open event.
- Amberine
- Deben
- Mooroverthebridge
