Debut winner at Brighton last month and makes his return here under a penalty. Obviously has ability but will need to improve under the extra weight.

Horse silk
20/1
Compton Place newcomer who cost £20,000 as a yearling. Yard enjoys some success with their juveniles and he's worth a check in the market for this debut.

Horse silk
33/1
Palace Episode colt who cost €20,000 as a yearling. Plenty of two-year-old winning form in his pedigree so he cannot be ruled out on debut.

(7)
Horse silk
100/1
Lilbourne Lad colt who cost €7,000 as a yearling. Yard not known for first time out winners and he makes very limited appeal on paper.

11/1
Tailed off on debut at Bath in March and switches to the AW here. May prefer this to the bottomless ground there but still tough to build a case for.

Wolstonbury11
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-13| J: L P Keniry| T: S Kirk
16/1
Well-beaten on debut at Newbury last month. Needs to take a massive step forward in order to play a part in this contest.

10/3
Footstepsinthesand filly who cost £20,000 as a yearling. Some speed in pedigree but will possibly improve for a little bit further in time.
8

Horse silk
25/1
Poet's Voice filly who was sold for 15,000gns as a yearling. Others appeal more on paper and yard has had just one juvenile winner on turf in past five years.

Rajy
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-10| J: Josephine Gordon| T: Tom Clover
11/1
Society Rock filly out of a Cape Cross mare who cost 19,000gns as a yearling. Fair pedigree and worth a market check ahead of this debut run.

Um Shama
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-8| J: S W Kelly| T: R Hughes
16/1
Helmet filly who cost £9,000 as a yearling. A half-sister to a few winners, but this yard not necessarily renowned for first time out winners.

Forecasts

Its The Only Way (11/10), Brelades Bay (10/3), Wolf Hunter (11/1), Rajy (11/1), Um Shama (16/1), Wolstonbury (16/1), Swan Street (20/1), Dolly Dupree (25/1), Kyat Khan (33/1), Eye Of The Water (100/1)

Verdict

With so many newcomers it's difficult to have a very strong opinion, but ITS THE ONLY WAY won on debut at Brighton last time out and should be capable of stepping up on that performance under the penalty and proving competitive once again, especially as this yard's juveniles usually progress well. Of the newcomers Swan Street and Kyat Khan appeal most.
  1. Its The Only Way
  2. Swan Street
  3. Kyat Khan
