Better efforts tend to come over a bit further. Beaten a long way at Windsor (6f, heavy) on reappearance but may have needed that run. Dropping in the weights and into a class 5 for the first time in three years makes him of minor interest.
Been running consistently well since the turn of the year and another good effort when narrowly denied at Windsor (6f, heavy) last time. Nudged up 2lb but handles testing ground so no reason he won't be in the mix again.
Finished last season with a couple of wins. The cheekpieces were left off for reappearance run at Lingfield (6f, AW) when finishing second. They go back on today and every chance there is more to come.
Ran a cracker behind a well handicapped animal at Ascot on final start of 2017. Been given a six month break and there could be more progress in him this year. Rider takes off a handy 7lbs.
Flattered by a run in a Listed race last May which pushed his handicap mark beyond his ability. Mark is tumbling back down to a more realistic level but need to see more before becoming of interest.
Seven time winner on turf. Not the most consistent of late but has dropped below his last winning mark. Bigger concern would be his best form is largely now on a quicker surface than this.
Well handicapped on old form and showed a spark of improvement for the switch to this yard two runs back. Not so good however last time and his mark is slightly higher on turf. Cheekpieces go back on today.
Finished last year well with a couple of wins. This mark has looked beyond her since and every chance of a similar story until the handicapper cuts her some slack.
Long losing run is really mounting up. Third at Leicester on Saturday but was beaten 5¼L. Needs to step up on that to take a hand today.
Three respectable efforts so far this year without troubling the judge. Mark is down to a workable level and seems to handle testing ground well enough.

Forecasts
Glory of Paris (9/4), Letmestopyouthere (3/1), Jashma (6/1), Pride Of Angels (7/1), Dream Farr (8/1), Here's Two (14/1), Cincuenta Pasos (14/1), Another Boy (16/1), Field of Vision (16/1), Just An Idea (16/1), Waseem Faris (33/1)
Conditions look spot on for Glory Of Paris and he should surely run well. Jashma and Pride Of Angels both come with live chances but a chance is taken that a return to form could be on the cards for CINCUENTE PASOS. The selection blew away any cobwebs at Windsor and has been dropped another 5lbs. He’s starting to look very well weighted and drops into class 5 company for the firs time since 2015.
- Cincuenta Pasos
- Glory of Paris
- Pride Of Angels
