Now steps up to 7f having won twice over 6f already this year and has a run style that will suit this longer trip. Only raised 2lb for her latest win and remains on the up; yet to finish out of the first three for this yard.

Appeared happy on the Fibresand at Southwell on her penultimate start before running poorly there last time. Now makes her handicap debut on a different synthetic surface and interesting to see how she copes having also won on Tapeta.

Showed improved form on her second start when switched to the AW over 7f at Kempton finishing runner-up (no chance with winner). Failed to build on that run when last seen and now returns from a break making her handicap debut.

Not seen to best effect last time out when taking second over 6f here having previously won at this trip (first run since wind surgery). Got a wide trip and caught a long was back she finished well and still has some potential on handicap debut.

Looked far more straightforward than before when winning at Bath on her last start (6f, soft). Now back from a break making her AW/handicap debut trying 7f for the second time and more is expected.

Her one disappointing run came on turf (testing conditions) and it looks as though she is better suited by an AW surface. A winner on Tapeta over 7f when last seen she returns from a break here but looks capable of further improvement.

Now hooded for the first-time after not showing any obvious progress from her debut run (promising) in two subsequent starts. The drop to 6f last time clearly didn't suit and she'll be better served by a return to 7f if she can find her debut form.

Looked in need of the experience on her debut and improved on her second start before failing to build on that run last time. Will need to show more here but at least she now has a mark to work with and handicaps will suit better.

Won a minor event over 6f when with Mick Channon but hardly needed to improve on her previous form to land that race. She's been beaten off marks like this before in handicaps and given her pedigree 7f may test her stamina.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-12| J: Edward Greatrex| T: A Watson| OR:  66WS

Makes her first start for this yard as well as making her handicap debut. Failed to improve on two occasions from her debut although this sort of company will give her more chance to shine.

Forecasts

No More Thrills (9/4), It's Not Unusual (11/4), Great Shot Sam (7/1), Kath's Lustre (8/1), Lady Al Thumama (9/1), Line House (10/1), Silca Mistress (12/1), Lady Marigold (20/1), Light Relief (20/1), Mrs Benson (25/1)

Verdict

With several making their handicap debuts this won’t be that easy to unravel although NO MORE THRILLS shaped well over 6f here last time when getting a moderate passage and the chances are this 7f will see her in a much better light. Kath’s Lustre despite carrying top weight is a consistent sort who will also be suited by this trip despite winning over a furlong shorter last time. Great Shot Sam looks to be another who will enjoy this test while both Lady Marigold (after wind surgery) and Lady Al Thumama can be expected to show more this time around.

  3. Great Shot Sam
