Winner at Dundalk for Joseph O'Brien and put in a couple of decent efforts over hurdles on his first two outings for this yard. Well held on his return to the Flat at Wolverhampton earlier this month and racing from out of the handicap in this.

Well beaten in three starts in maiden company last year including twice over this trip. Probably best watched racing from out of the weights on handicap debut.

Forecasts

Regal Mirage (10/3), New Society (5/1), Calliope (11/2), Question Of Faith (7/1), Wotabreeze (8/1), Prancing Oscar (9/1), Wishing Well (11/1), Mr Sundowner (12/1), Kings Gold (16/1), Richard Strauss (20/1), Breakwater Bay (25/1), My Distant Murphy (66/1)

Verdict

PRANCING OSCAR who is tackling this trip for the first time may have the race run to suit having finished third at Wolverhampton last time out. The selection has attempted to make all in the past and with an uncontested lead likely he can make his first appearance over this distance a winning one in the hands of Paul Mulrennan. Question Of Faith ended last season in good form and while the drop in trip isn't ideal she is potentially ahead of the handicapper and can take second while Wishing Well who shaped as if this drop in distance would suit when fourth last time out can finish third.
  1. Prancing Oscar
  2. Question Of Faith
  3. Wishing Well
