Narrowly beat Iconic Belle in a maiden two starts ago over this C&D and should be suited by the return to this trip, though with this being a handicap she obviously has to concede weight to that reopposing rival now.
Potentially unlucky to be denied a hat-trick by just a short head at this course last time and steps up in trip here. Draw probably not ideal but looks to operate off this mark and has been in excellent form recently.
Encouraging to see her returned to this trip after a lackluster effort over 1m6f last time. Not far away off a similar mark at Kempton two starts ago but needs to prove she acts on this surface.
Took a step in the right direction over 2m at Lingfield last time but not certain this step down in trip will suit, and much of her best form is at that course.
Down 1lb since being beaten 6L by Sunshineandbubbles at this course last time, but it seems likely she needs further help from the handicapper before being effective in this sphere.
Remains a maiden but ran very well over this C&D a few starts back and chances should be done no harm by the return to this trip. Jockey booking another positive and everything looks set for a big run.
Up 4lb for a win won the Tapeta at Newcastle last time out. Should be able to handle that rise but does still need to prove she stays this far and she steps up to this trip.
Still well-beaten last time despite finishing second, though she's kept on the same mark and may be able to land a place once again.
Twice a winner on turf last season, but form has since dropped off and she makes little appeal even off a mark that is quickly getting lower.
Form tailed off while trained in Ireland but rated 61 at her peak and this trainer has an exceptional record with new recruits, so she needs considering.
Remains a maiden and despite a couple of mildly promising efforts the vast majority of her form would put her well below the required level for this.
Forecasts
Carraigin Aonair (3/1), Pour L'Amour (4/1), Sunshineandbubbles (9/2), Iconic Belle (5/1), Dose (10/1), Lady Persephone (12/1), Kerrera (14/1), French Mix (22/1), Dyna Might (25/1), Lassana Angel (66/1), Mistress Viz (100/1)
Given the reputation that Olly Murphy is developing for improving horses that join his yard Carraigin Aonair is of obvious interest, but preference is for ICONIC BELLE. Mick Channon's representative may be a maiden but the performance she put in over C&D recently in addition to the fact that Silvestre De Sousa rides means she should be capable of at least going close here. Sunshineandbubbles is in very good form and should also be on the premises.
- Iconic Belle
- Carraigin Aonair
- Sunshineandbubbles
