Makes his Fibresand debut from an awkward draw having returned to action a little below form over 5f recently. Remains above his last winning mark though having been in fine heart for much of last year; this represents a slight drop in grade.
A three-time winner over C&D from six attempts he's only 1lb above his last winning mark and returned to a more hospitable grade here after facing a stiff task last time. Not helped by forcing the pace last time and respected here.
Type that this yard do well with but they do appear to be still working him out having made his debut here over 7f for them. Dropped down to 5f on turf last time he appeared to travel well enough but failed to finish off his race.
Has yet to really fire for this yard but has twice won over C&D over higher marks admittedly a while ago. Has shown that he was up to marks in the mid 70s though and could be well handicapped once this yard get to grips with him.
Not quite back to her best in two runs this year but has slipped back below her last winning mark. Has won over this C&D and capable at 5f overall. Now with the champion jockey on board again and may be set for a revival.
Tries 5f for the first time here with his form on Fibresand overall leaving him something to find. Not well positioned over 6f last time but his mark remains above his last winning one and others appeal more.
Makes his Fibresand debut off a substantial break having turned in a career best when last seen winning at Windsor (5f, good). Showed plenty of speed there and is still on fair mark but does face a few here who have already shown their form here.
Looked to be in his element when winning a C&D maiden last year giving his form more clarity. Continued to show his form after that victory winning once more over 5f on turf and looks of interest back here if ready to go after a break.
Showed his best form here over C&D when taking the runner-up slot in a couple of maidens. Failed to build on that brace of runs last time out back in a handicap and this looks as tough with the handicapper in control; had wind surgery since last run.
No doubt his best form has come here and he's a three-time C&D winner since having some wind surgery. Should be capable off this mark (3lb above last win) despite running poorly away from here last time when up in grade and hampered in the race.
Consistent sort last year winning consecutive races the second on handicap debut off a mark of 64. Now makes her Fibresand debut after some wind surgery off a career high mark. Been absent a fair while so enthusiasm is tempered on her return.
Losing run continues to grow and his one previous run here didn't really produce anything that would give him a winning chance here. Now returns from a long absence and others are more favoured by conditions here.
Shaped with a great deal of encouragement on his return at Musselburgh off this same mark and would be of real interest if this were on turf. His one previous run here wasn't that alluring though and it may be best to wait for a return to turf.
Takes a step down in trip for his Fibresand debut having not been seen for a while and below form on heavy ground over 6f when he was. Given his connections worth keeping an eye on in the market but double-figure draw isn't helpful.
Forecasts
Nuns Walk (10/3), Jabbarockie (5/1), Amazing Grazing (7/1), Archimedes (7/1), Saved My Bacon (15/2), Pearl Acclaim (8/1), Decision Maker (14/1), Foxtrot Knight (16/1), Hollander (16/1), Oriental Relation (25/1), Imagine If (33/1), Cosmic Chatter (33/1), New Identity (33/1), Desert Ace (33/1)
A very competitive handicap with quite a few that have triumphed here added to others that will be making their debuts on Fibresand but come here having shown some fair form elsewhere. PEARL ACCLAIM has a sound record over C&D (3/6) and he’s taken to bounce back here having faced a stiff task last time. Archimedes is another that has shown his best form over this C&D and he has to be respected now back to his favourite surface. Jabbarockie looks a speedy sort who is suited by Fibresand although his draw is a difficult one while both Saved My Bacon and Oriental Relation are well handicapped if they come back to form having both won here before.
- Pearl Acclaim
- Archimedes
- Saved My Bacon
