Making his debut at the age of four and obviously hasn't been easy to train. A son of Aussie Rules his unraced dam is a sister to a couple of winners (one on the AW). Others make more appeal.

Modest sort over obstacles who has run once before on the AW at Wolverhampton over a longer trip (1m1f). Only put up a ordinary display there and now tries Fibresand for the first time; will make more appeal in handicaps.

A so far unraced son of Oasis Dream from a yard that are not really known for their success on the Flat. He is a half-brother to several winners but cost only £1,500 as a three-year-old and can only be watched for now.

Sister to two winners who is hooded for her debut and looks to be bred to handle this surface. Given her connections and pedigree she's one to watch in the market here.

Twice-raced on the Flat she's shown very little so far in those two AW starts (both on Tapeta). Now changes surface but has a lot of improvement to make if she is to take a hand here.

His pedigree gave some hope on paper when he made his debut here over 7f but he was too green to do himself justice. Well backed on that occasion he may well be capable of more this time stepped up to a mile.

Needs to improve on his debut effort at Doncaster (7f, heavy) to play a part here although there was a little promise in that initial effort. Pedigree suggests that he'll be able to handle this surface from a yard that is always worth a market watch.

One of the lesser lights in the stable his previous effort here on his Fibresand/handicap debut saw him look exposed. Made a belated turf debut last time in testing conditions and struggled again; makes some appeal but looking vulnerable.

Offered something to work on after starting a big price on his debut on the AW at Kempton over a mile. Slow away he made some good headway prior to his effort flattening out; could well do better if he takes to this surface.

Helmet filly who cost 30,000 guineas as a yearling with her dam being a winner at up to 1m4f. Dam also a half-sister to the useful winner at up to 1m Choose Your Moment. Makes her debut but given her connections one for the shortlist.

Raaqyahh15
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-8| J: Andrea Atzeni| T: R Varian

Half-sister to several winners who ran green on her debut at Newcastle over a mile but wasn't unduly punished in finishing third. Hood worn for debut is retained and she should step forward here (hood retained) with sire having a good record here.

Forecasts

Victory Wave (11/8), Raaqyah (2/1), Stealth (4/1), Burgonet (14/1), Rolladice (16/1), Theydon Boxer (18/1), Assure (50/1), New Britain (50/1), Demophon (66/1), Betancourt (66/1), Wise Coco (150/1)

Verdict

With very little Fibresand form and form in general to go on this is an event to tread lightly in for betting purposes. The pick of the older horses looks to be the debutante Victory Wave who looks bred to handle this surface but she will need to be decent to give away the weight to the three-year-olds. Best of that bunch looks to be RAAQYAH who shaped well at Newcastle last time along with the newcomer Burgonet from a yard that should always be respected with this type. New Britain could well step forward from his debut here and put his experience to good use while Theydon Boxer is an interesting sort for handicaps in the future.
