Cost €50,000 as a yearling with his dam (unraced) hailing from the family of Derby winner New Approach. Idled after hitting the front when just scraping home to beat an 86-rated rival at Newbury and he has the size to improve a lot more.
Looked a handicap good thing last time and so it proved. His revised mark still probably underestimates him judged on his previous start and he has every chance here with his rider's claim making him even more likely to be involved.
No show in two starts and hard to fancy despite presence of champion jockey in the saddle. Gets a mark after this and he will be more of a force when handicapping.
Has an AW pedigree being by Midshipman and related to two dirt winners. Stable do well with this age group here, but he is highly tried on debut.
Havana Gold gelding cost 55,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to a couple of winners and handicapping may be a more lucrative route after this.
Has improved with each start and unlucky to bump into a smart horse last time. Stable have their horses in good shape and he could make his allowance tell.
Down the field on sole start for Martin Smith but has been given time since. Nevertheless, he needs to have improved a lot in his new surroundings.
70,000 gns son of Epaulette and related to five winners including useful AW winners Fred Willets and Whozthecat as well as Group 3 winner Stormfly. Stable 3-12 with this age group in 2018.
Went close from a poor draw on debut and that form has substance. Entitled to go close and better drawn this time.
Slowly away and never a threat on debut and finds herself in a better race now. Hard to fancy as a result.
Fifth on debut here for Ralph Beckett but more highly tried on return and has joined a new yard. Best watched.

Fennaan and Pak Choi both have penalties to shoulder and both are probably worthy of BHA ratings in the high 80s. Richard Hannon's runner MAGNIFICENT has been awarded an official mark of 87 and receives a 7lb maiden's allowance which makes him the one they all have to beat. Pilot Wings is bred for the job and this surface and there was little wrong with Sod's Law's debut here and that piece of form has worked out well.
