Cape Cross colt out of a New Approach mare who is an unraced sister to a Listed winner over 1m2f. Makes a belated racecourse debut, so is probably best watched.
Confirmed promise of debut run at Newmarket with a clear-cut victory in a Lingfield maiden. Represents leading connections and is likely to take plenty of beating on first start as a three-year-old.
Promising debut on sole start as a juvenlle and confirmed he has talent when second of 10 on his reappearance at Chelmsford last month. Looks likely to play a prominent role with more improvement expected.
Dawn Approach colt who cost 170,000 gns as a two-year-old and is from a good staying family. Wears a hood on debut for a stable which can ready one first time.
Showed a fair level of ability on both starts as a juvenile. There should be more to come this season and he is one to consider on his reappearance.
Gelded son of Showcasing who fetched 115,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to three winners over 6f and 7f. May need this debut run, but is worth checking in the betting.
Successful on debut over 6f at Wolverhampton, but was well held in third over the same C&D on latest start. Steps up to 7f and needs to improve for the greater stamina test.
Well held, but not without hinting at talent, on both runs over 1m. Drop in trip may suit, but she looks the type to do better in handicaps after this.
Forecasts
Masaarr (8/15), Honey Man (9/2), Sha La La La Lee (6/1), Glorious Army (6/1), Qatar Glory (16/1), Swiss Belle (33/1), Timssaah (33/1), Can Can Sixty Two (80/1)
Quite a decent contest in which Honey Man may do best of the three newcomers. Sha La La La Lee and Glorious Army should be winning before too long, but ready preference is for MASAARR, who has looked a promising colt on both starts, the latter when winning easily at Lingfield, and could develop into a useful three-year-old. Swiss Belle looks best of the rest.
- Masaarr
- Glorious Army
- Sha La La La Lee
