Promising start behind a high-class stable companion at Newmarket and put that experience to good use when winning at Sandown. Should be plenty more to come from him as a three-year-old.
Looked really useful when winning on debut at Ascot and showed a fair level of form in better company in three subsequent starts. Can obviously go well first time out and goes on the short list.

Thewayyouare colt out of a Byron mare who won over 1m on the AW and is a sister to 6f/7f winner Childesplay. Likely to need this debut outing..
Pivotal colt out of a Singspiel mare, he cost 75,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to five winners from 6f to 1m. Well worth checking for market support on his racecourse bow.
Promise on both starts as a juvenile, one of them on the AW at Wolverhampton. Should be capable of winning races, but may be seen to best advantage in handicaps.
Last on both starts at Wolverhampton last month. Hard to make any sort of case for, but qualifies for a handicap mark after this.
Gelded son of Holy Roman Emperor, from a winning family, who fetched 240,000 gns as a yearling. Hefty price tag suggests he looks the part so any market support would be interesting.
Gelding by Rip Van Winkle purchased for 17,000 gns as a yearling in October, 2016. Tailed-off last of 11 on debut at Wolverhampton recently and probably needs time to develop.
Son of Prix Du Jockey Club winner Le Havre who cost €110,000 as a yearling. Interesting that he make his debut after wind surgery and this stable companion of Tigre du Terre is probably best watched.

An interesting novice event in which newcomers Definition, King Of Burgundy and Star Of Southwold make plenty of appeal on paper. However, CROSSED BATON and Tigre du Terre set a fair standard and the former looks to have the greater scope for improvement after only two outings. Caspar The Cub and Escalator are others to consider.
