Stable/Fibresand debut today and had some creditable efforts last year on turf/AW for his former yard. On a reasonable mark if he acts on this surface with his pedigree suggesting that it may well suit him well.
Surface holds no fears (four-time C&D winner) with his last win coming here at the end of January. Ran well on one outing here since then off a 10lb higher mark than his last win; disappointed away from here last time and gets a welcome return.
Arrested his form slide with a selling win here and then showed something more akin to his old form when taking a 7f handicap here on his next run. Continued his upswing until last time out when he found his good run coming to a halt; more needed.
Made an excellent start to his Fibresand career winning twice (once over C&D) but has been beaten here twice since. His last run contained some promise though and he shaped better than the distance he was beaten; may be effective off this mark yet.
All his best efforts have come on this surface although his last win remains over two years ago. Looked to need his run on a return from an absence at Chelmsford last time and has now dipped below his last winning mark.
First try on this surface but his sire has a good record on Fibresand although it's now 24 runs since he last scored flattering on a few occasions. Good enough to make his presence felt and looks to be working his way back to full fitness.
Like his stablemate General Tufto almost part of the furniture here but he's nit shown much of late and is starting to look very unreliable. Often slow away and given he's won here 11 times not totally written off but hard to trust.
Dual Fibresand winner towards the end of last year but he was in much better form then and his last two runs have been below par. Fared poorly over C&D last time and can only be watched here based on that outing.
Looked in decent form when reappearing over C&D after a break but followed a poor effort with an even worse one last time over 7f. Given another month off but hard to recommend given those two runs; still above last wining mark.
Very rarely disgraced here and underlined that point with a sound 4th here over 7f last time but he pays for his consistency in his handicap mark. Has just slipped below his last winning mark of a year ago; another placed effort may be on the cards.

Quite a few of these are capable of winning on this surface and with two Fibresand newcomers in the line-up the race is a competitive one. Both Fieldsman and Abushamah have pedigrees that suggest they should act on this unique surface and if they do both are entitled to go close but it may pay to rely on a more established Fibresand performer in SPUN GOLD who has two wins to his name here and ran better than his finishing position last time out. Both Sooqaan and Red Touch will be happier back on this unique surface where they have produced their best with Luath running what is expected to be another sound race.
