Two wins and four places from 12 runs at the track to show for his efforts, so like it here, and has been in the frame in similar C&D events on his last two runs too. Solid pace would aid his chance and not hard to see him in the frame again.
Won a couple of handicaps around this time last year, and almost came good at Kempton last time out, denied a neck. Gone up 4lb for that, which makes it harder, but in good form and may be about to strike. Trip and track both fine.
C&D winner here in February but that was a basement grade affair, and since then he's found life harder in this grade, well beaten on both occasions. Needs to bounce back now and others make a bit more appeal.
This will only be his fifth start, so is at least open to improvement, and wasn't disgraced on first attempt in handicap company at Newcastle last September. Not seen since though, so may need this, but is worth a look in the market at least.
Comes over from Ireland to try her luck, and is at least running with some consistency at Dundalk this winter to think she holds a chance here. Both trip and track should be fine and any market support makes her very interesting.
Having just his third start in a handicap and has taken small steps forward on both his last two starts, only beaten a length over C&D here last time out and he wouldn't need much more to prove a threat. Not discounted.
Still a maiden after 24 starts and despite a slightly better effort at Kempton last time out, she's hard to fancy for win purposes with such a record. Not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Only moderate form shown so far but did at least do a little better in a tongue-tie earlier in the week at Chelmsford, running on late to take fourth. Needs more again but could progress, so not totally discounted.
Hasn't got on the scoresheet since 2015 and in truth, hasn't looked like improving that record recently. Hopes pinned on new headgear but still very hard to fancy.
Forecasts
Living Leader (11/4), Lord Murphy (7/2), Final Attack (4/1), Multiviz (6/1), Sheer Intensity (8/1), Emigrated (12/1), Simmo's Partytrick (14/1), Gone With The Wind (16/1), Caius College Girl (25/1)
Top weight LORD MURPHY holds a solid chance here and in the hope there's a decent gallop on, is taken to come out on top. Multiviz tends to run her race in this grade and could be the danger, with Living Leader and the unexposed Simmo's Partytrick both worth honourable mentions.
- Lord Murphy
- Multiviz
- Living Leader
