Won her first three starts over C&D but although she has run respectably in two subsequent similar starts she has now been beaten twice off this mark. Capable of running well again but does have something to find on her last two runs.
Has run three respectable races on this surface (twice over C&D) and now drop into 0-70 grade for the first time. May have ended up on the wrong part of the track last time out and should continue to give a good account over this 7f.
Appears to have taken relatively well to this surface and has won over this trip here although that victory did come in a 0-60. Has run well in better company subsequently although he has work to do with these on his outing here last time.
A winner here on his debut on the surface since then his form looks to have regressed slightly and he's struggled a little of late. Tried in blinkers for the first time last time out cheekpieces are on this time around in an effort to find his form.
Needs no introduction around here having won seven times over this C&D (11 win here overall). He's not the most consistent though and his recent form is below par (very slow away last time); others make more appeal.
Debut runner on Fibresand for a yard that do well with their runners on the surface. Best run for this yard came over 7f but his two recent starts haven't really impressed and he faces some track specialists here.
Hard to fault his form here which reads 112222 and he looked as though he coped well with this 7f trip here last time out. Typically he travelled well through the race although those run of seconds are becoming slightly worrying and you could have doubts about his finishing effort.
A debutante on this surface he comes here trying a new headgear combination although his last two starts which have both come in sellers have not inspired. Yet to win a handicap although the handicapper is giving him a chance off this mark.
Showed himself to be in good form when last seen without winning and now makes his return trying Fibresand for the first time. 7f is very much his trip but his sire has a poor record here and he might just need this.
All his winning form has come on turf but he has been placed on this surface before (once over C&D) and for the most part he's a consistent sort. Below par over a mile here last time but looks the type to bounce back and he's not written off.
Not won since taking a weak (0-55) handicap on turf at Ffos Las in the summer and now makes his debut on Fibresand (sire has a good record here). Latest runs have been modest though and this grade may prove beyond him.
Yet to win here but has plenty of decent form to his name on Fibresand (222744 over C&D). He may well have found the mile here last time out too testing although his overall record means he remains more likely to place than win.
Another course regular with four Fibresand wins to his name (2/12 over C&D). Managed to end a long losing run when successful off a mark of 54 in a lower grade than this in January; found this sort of grade too testing last time out.
Forecasts
Kommander Kirkup (4/1), Mr Christopher (5/1), Queens Royale (11/2), Donnelly's Rainbow (6/1), Beauden Barrett (10/1), Misu Pete (12/1), Break The Silence (12/1), Best Tamayuz (14/1), Bold Spirit (14/1), Unnoticed (14/1), Zoravan (16/1), Maazel (16/1), Alpha Tauri (25/1)
A competitive start to the six race card with several of these having met before. It’s hard to fault the form of Kommander Kirkup on Fibresand and he showed last time out that he could stay this 7f with four of today’s rivals in his wake although the run of seconds is rather a worry. Queens Royale was one of that quartet and she will do well to reverse the form although her overall form here means she is worthy of respect. Bold Spirit is another that has work to do in this grade but a drop to 0-70 class may well see MR CHRISTOPHER at last fulfil the promise that he shown here on a few occasions.
- Mr Christopher
- Kommander Kirkup
- Queens Royale
