Four runs over 7f so far, running to a similar level each time, most recently when a 5L seventh behind Elixsoft on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton. Eased 2lb for that but drop to 6f doesn't look of obvious benefit.
Moderate maiden form but better signs in two handicap starts, particularly when a 2L fourth behind Istanbul Pasha over C&D earlier this month. That was her first start since August, so entitled to derive plenty of benefit from it. Of interest.
Opened her account at the seventh attempt in a handicap over C&D (4lb lower mark) and has since won a seller at Lingfield. Finished just in front of Jan's Joy when third over C&D recently but took a step backwards at Lingfield latest.
Decent pedigree and put some poor maiden form behind her when opening her account on her handicap debut over 6f at Lingfield last week, landing a gamble in the process. Raised 5lb but evidently thought capable of better.
Best effort in five outings came over 5f at Wolverhampton in May, going down less than 1L. Not as good over 6f since and clearly didn't stay 7f at Lingfield last time. Others preferred as she makes a first start since August.
Well beaten at big prices in three maiden races so far, most recently when finishing over 17L behind Clubbable. Likely to fare better in handicaps but hard to fancy on what she's served up so far.
Half-sister to five winners who has shown nothing to suggest she will be upholding that tradition. Allocated a low mark on her handicap debut at Southwell recently but was beaten almost 30L. Dropped 4lb.
Related to some fair sprinting types but finished well held in three minor events before struggling in a Southwell seller. Could only beat one home on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton recently and is hard to make a case for.
Forecasts
Quick Recovery (9/4), Inuk (5/2), Jan's Joy (7/2), Laytown (4/1), Chloellie (16/1), Storm Doris (25/1), Gowing Gowing Gone (33/1), Born For Prosecco (50/1)
The money was down for QUICK RECOVERY to exploit a low opening mark at Lingfield last week and Jim Boyle's filly didn't disappoint, scoring a shade cosily after being produced late. It would be no surprise if there was a fair bit more in the tank and it may not prove beyond her to defy a 5lb rise in a race which seemingly lacks depth. Jan's Joy and Inuk look closely matched on a recent start over C&D with the former, who was returning from a lengthy absence, looking the biggest danger to the selection.
- Quick Recovery
- Jan's Joy
- Inuk
