Went close over C&D two starts ago, and having won on the turf at Brighton earlier in the year he looks set to run a big race here as long as he can overcome the widest draw of all.
13 race maiden across both codes and impossible to fancy after a 31L defeat over C&D in maiden company earlier in the month.
C&D winner who also won at Wolverhampton earlier in the month, but needs to improve on two less impressive efforts since, though he is only 1lb higher in the weights.
Polytrack winner at Chelmsford over 1m who also stays this far, and can't be ruled out after a solid effort here two starts ago.
10 race maiden but has shown he has ability on a number of occasions. Handicap mark slowly coming down and easy to envisage him getting off the mark sooner rather than later.
Much better than this class of race when trained in Ireland but has regressed since moving to Britain and needs a fairly major revival now.
Versatile performer who can put in solid efforts at times but is on a long losing streak now and has also never won on the AW.
Won over 1m2f on Polytrack at Chelmsford two starts ago and is 5lb higher in the weights now. Needs to prove himself off this mark but still has a chance.
Five of his six wins on the AW have come here, including C&D, and he has run well here the last twice. Major claims off only 1lb higher with his apprentice rider claiming 7lb.
More lightly-raced than most of these but failed to impress on handicap debut at Chelmsford last time and has stamina to prove over this trip.
Has run creditably over hurdles the last twice, and also has a good record on the AW despite not having won on a synthetic surface in three attempts. Not ruled out on the return to the Flat.
C&D winner and also won at Chelmsford over this trip two starts ago, but isn't drawn ideally and is 4lb higher than at the time of that recent victory.

Attain commands respect given his form at this course but preference is for UNIT OF ASSESSMENT. Adam Kirby's mount my remain a maiden but has demonstrated he has ability including when a good third over C&D last time out. He should be capable of getting off the mark off his current handicap rating and is the suggestion here, with Ban Shoof also making the shortlist from a wide draw.
