Convincing winner of a C&D novice event here last time out. Was odds-on there and won't find this as easy as that with a penalty, but still looks a leading contender for a top trainer.

Won a Goodwood novice event in good style two starts ago. Last in a Listed race in France since but interesting now returning to a much easier race.

Well-beaten in two starts, both at in novice races at Newcastle. Likely set for another minor role on this third start.

Not disgraced over C&D last time when improving on his debut effort; could progress again to challenge for a place this time on a surface he clearly handles.

Hasn't shown much on three of his four starts and the other was a weak enough affair; connections stick with the novice route but needs to take a considerable step forward.

Mawatheeq newcomer who has been gelded for this first run. Half-brother to two winners, but they have both specialised over shorter trips than this.

Beaten just a length on debut over C&D last month. Ran an odds-on shot close there and is respected on his second start with some improvement likely.

Almost 10L behind Magnetic Boundary over C&D last time out, and difficult to see him reversing that form. even if he does take something of a step forward.

Off the mark at Newcastle last time in impressive style. Still receives weight from most of her rivals due to her fillies' allowance, and would have to go close if repeating that form on the Fibresand.

Epaulette filly who cost €32,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to a few winners including Group 3 runner-up Hard Yards and is one of the likelier newcomers.

Not beaten out of sight on handicap debut at Kempton last time in August. Up in trip here and would have a chance on the pick of his novice form. Hood on.

Twice second in France but not at that level in two starts in Britain so far. Needs to rediscover her French form with a headgear on for the first time.

Dam won over 7f on the AW but unexciting pedigree other than that, would only be of interest if attracting significant support in the market..

Kheleyf filly who makes her debut here having been withdrawn at Nottingham last time due to playing up in the stalls. Not the most obvious pedigree for a first time out winner.

Forecasts

On The Warpath (5/2), Line House (9/2), Magnetic Boundary (11/2), Pastamakesufaster (8/1), G Eye Joe (10/1), Serabrina (12/1), Raven's Raft (14/1), One More Chance (16/1), Samovar (16/1), Traumatised (16/1), Jaffar (25/1), Team Showme (25/1), Amadeus (25/1), Love Rat (33/1)

Verdict

There are a few interesting winners here including LINE HOUSE. Making her first appearance for Karl Burke, this filly won a Newcastle novice race when trained by Robyn Brisland and due to her allowance still receives weight from most of these. Very impressive in victory, she seems progressive and can make it two wins in a row here for her new trainer. On The Warpath, a winner of a novice race here, looks the main danger, while Pastamakesufaster will appreciate this marked step down in class.
  1. Line House
  2. On The Warpath
  3. Pastamakesufaster
