Cheaply purchased half-sister to winners on the AW but two starts in Ireland so far leave a lot to be desired. Qualifies for a handicap mark after this but best watched on debut for her new trainer.
Cost 55,000 gns but not yet looked like living up to the billing. Stable excels with its youngsters but the fact the fact that he drop down to this level suggests a line is in the sand. Probably capable but also likely he's in last chance saloon.
Cost just€1,500; he's out of a 5f winner, who was a half-sister to winners at up 1m. Stable quiet just now and profile not strong enough to recommend him being capable of making a winning racecourse debut.
£45,000 as a yearling, the son of the useful Red Jazz was stone last on debut at Newbury but did put in a better effort when switched to the polytrack at Chelmsford earlier in the month. More still required though.
Already exposed as very ordinary and posted very little of note so far. Best effort came over an extended 7f on the turf course here in August but has been regressive since. May be suited by stepping down in trip but very risky for win only.
Good effort on penultimate start and a repeat would bring her right into the argument. Debut at this course and up in trip, so possible there is more to come now stamina is being extended. Cost 62,000 gns as a yearling, but still plenty to prove.
Drops in grade after struggling in handicaps but didn't really create the impression that she's suited by a mile when she little for pressure over the trip last time. This is easier so possible she could make the frame if rising to the challenge
Three modest effort so far and very little to get enthusiastic about after she made no impression in a claimer in France last time out. This looks her level but she may do better once strengthened up a bit next year.
Forecasts
Carp Kid (13/8), Mr Large (9/4), Bond Do Tigrao (5/1), Hurricane Lil (10/1), Counterfeit (12/1), Financial Crime (14/1), Rose Of Shiraz (40/1), Cornish Point (40/1)
Very modest stuff and only a speculative punt on CARP KID being able to live up to his billing as officially the top rated horse in the race is recommended. The Richard Hannon team rarely persevere too long in this sort of grade but the colt has shown enough to make a good fist of things in this lowly company. Financial Crime marginally edges out Hurricane Lil as the best of the rest.
